Blackpink did get me into KPop when they did Sour Candy with Lady Gaga. Jisoo immediately became my ult-bias and has remained so. This was more than I could have hoped for from her. Yes, so proud of how far she has come with her singing.

I think her MV's a multiverse story (if you noticed the Everything, Everywhere, All At Once Chapters): the start she realises she's just someone's "Flower", being nice and doing what's asked, but she's living a lie. The Next Day (Chapter 1) she makes different decisions, leading to parallel Jisoos, exisiting at the Same Time (Chapter 2), and at the Same Place (Chapter 3)... there's at least 3 Jisoo's; one who gets sad/depressed about her situation, one who embraces it (dancing in the lobby and showing off her pearl necklace), and one who walks away from it (and gives up the wealth, the one looking 'longingly' at the pearl necklace in the window)... but by the end, the one who embraces it, tears off her necklace, and even the sad Jisoo eventually removes her necklace (the necklace being a metaphor for her emotional bond, and removing it signifies her breaking free of those bonds). She leaves, with only her scent (lingering memories) left behind... it's a very poetic song.
Its such an amazing song! The more and more I find out about the song the more i fall in love with it! Thank you for the wonderful info!
Look for the reaction vlogger Knox Hill and a Korean couple ( sorry I forgot their name😢)... their pov and understanding of Jisoo's MV made it more pleasurable to listen and watch again and again coz it's clearer to me.
The visuals is such an eye candy that it made me forget to follow the story. 🤣 I so can relate. Now it's so much more fun to groove to Flower. 🤟
