The purpose of this spring is to push the scroll wheel down into place so it's only natural for it to go on top, I know that he already answered you but just wanted to clarify the reason for people that may see this in the future.
what is the worst scenario if I failed soldering the switches? is it just broke the switch/PCB or the whole part gonna broken when I connecting all of the parts again
help me bro. i hv tried this for new switch replacement and at the end my left and right click not function anymore. wht am i wrong and what should i do?
I bought one from Amazon that was faulty, turns out the guy tried to mod it by putting kailh switches on it but botched the job. That front PCB where the scroll wheel located doesn't seem to line up with all the holes on the black plastic skeleton. As a result, the lmb and rmb are stuck in place when the mouse is assembled. Is there any fix or will I have to send it back?

Should be on top of the scroll wheel peg.

Lifted pads and traces. Just stay within 250-370 deg c. And used leaded solder. Reflow the joints before desoldering.

No. PCB on the GPX is thinner and uses a smaller ribbon.
