Thank you for this presentation and I found it very interesting. I am not an electrical engineer nor do I deal with utility size systems. My perspective is from the demand side. Also, I have not watched all of your videos, so my comments are qualified. My interest is the decentralization of the power grid. As more electricity is being generated from diverse sources, power distribution becomes bidirectional. It is my belief that renewable sources that charge batteries will become the new normal. As such load following will take place at the micro-grid level. Ultimately the larger grids function will be to supplement the charge of the of distributed node batteries.
