In your opinion and experience, what's the Malaysia Toirism Board is lacking in promoting places like Langkawi in Malaysia. As I can see, Langkawi has quite a lot of interesting attractions, when compared to either Phuket or Bali. In those two very popular islands, you can see crowd of tourists. Been to Phuket but not Bali, honestly, Langkawi is quite beautiful and interesting and it's a free duty island too.
I got the ferry from Thailand in March, then the ferry across to the mainland at 5 (packed with locals leaving work) and stayed in Kuala Perlis for a night before getting the bus to Ipoh the next day. It was a great local experience!

Have you tried the harumanis mango, it's more available in Langkawi and Perlis than throughout Malaysia.

Yes I really can’t understand why more people don’t go to Langkawi? But selfishly I’m glad I found it before the crowds. My little spot of Paradise. 🥰
