I've been a fan of the blues and both John Lee Hooker and of Van Morrison for decades. This just put it all together. This is the best version of "Gloria" ever.

Last monday sucked. It was my first day on YET ANOTHER business trip. I was tired and cranky and driving down a crowded parkway. And this comes on the radio. I'd never heard it before. Within two minutes I had gone from swearing at a chipmunk who ran out in front of me to singing nonsense in harmony at the top of my lungs at all the confused Monday commuters around me. Gloria must have been one hell of a woman.
+Isosceles Kramer (groovylocks) Think about what GLORY means!!!! It's great that van morrison is playing some hard core blues. His voice is not 2nd to anybody and he seems to have some guitaring in him. PLEASE VM no more brown eyed girl. EVER
2022.......John Lee Hooker lived into his 80s,....he died in June of 2001, he was able to perform until he took his last breath. He was a powerhouse in the Blues genre.
If there is a more talented dualists out there . Please Please show me . Because this is pure GOLD in my eyes and can't be topped !!! Johnnie slamming it on the G -tar & Van the Man pumping the vocal's like no other.
What a combination of the power of Van Morrison voice and the smoothness of John Lee Hooker. Make me a feel so good, make me so happy. Great performance.
Damn I miss John Lee! But like he had said once "even when I'm gone I'll still be here" He gave a lot to those who love him............ Hope to see you in the after life John Lee!!!
# one song I ever played on guitar.. i was 10'' im 69 myamp was about 10 inchs.. we lived in a apartment..just me and Mom.. I played the $%%$Shit@# out of that song!! 3 chords..we were asked 2 move!! Best version EVER!!!
Not by in any way not to criticize the original version by Them (with Van Morrison) which I have always enjoyed from the first time I heard it on the radio when it was released when I was a kid in the 60's, but this is the best damn version by the best two musicians around of this type of music. Classic!!!!
Uuh Aah Ooh - Yeah ! Johnny Lee is so smooth when he bewitches Gloria: ...walking down the street - come, knock on my door! knock, knock on my door... - and come in my room... and feel allrigt, feel feeel feel feeeel. How could she possibly resist?? Thanks for loading this up.
El maestro irlandés Van Morrison creador de esta magistral obra del rock acompañado de la leyenda del blues Mr. John Lee Hooker en una excelente versión de Gloria canción que popularizaran The Doors.
For a friend who digs John Lee Hooker, with Van the Man doing a signature early THEM song.....G - L - O - R - I - A...Gloria, I want to sing it every day GLORIA . . . . . . .
These two are wicked good. This has been my absolute fave since I discovered the duet 4 years ago. Damn it don't get no better! Can't help but want to get up and dance!
Beyond musical genius cant not dance cant not be lifted now there s no more skag in my life sir VAN John lee together or apart are all i have to blow my fucking mind
