Actually, I'd argue that none are particularly evil aside from maybe Claude and Toni. CJ was the first protagonist depicted as being significantly more humane, having morals, boundaries, standards, limits, loyalty, honor, compassion for others, selfless and realistic values and so on, though aside from himself, he shows more of a violent and aggressive side particularly when his family is threatened or harmed. This legendary characterization was carried over to Victor Vance and Niko Bellic. Hell, take away GTA, and he, Victor, Luis, and Franklin are the coolest, chillest and most laid-back out of them all. Claude is definitely the most dangerous and arguably the most evil, as he has no care, nor compassion, or loyalty to anyone but himself. Tommy is selfish, but he does care about some people, though like Claude, he cares primarily about himself and is obsessed with power. Niko is experiencing a quarter-life crisis. He's seen stuff and been through stuff, and it unfortunately made him who he is. Confused with his choices in life, cynical, depressed, on top of the betrayal, abuse, and death he witnessed/faced: vengeful, enraged, disgruntled. He, like Victor, were ruined people in a way and were forced to fight in order to live the life they wanted. The sad thing is, Niko got to choose his fate, and Victor did not. Johnny has a tough but not bully attitude and take no shit from anyone personality. Luis isn't as violent as most, but at the same time, he, along with Victor, Johnny, and Franklin, didn't have a whole lot of shining moments aside from loyalty, where they did tremendously good deeds. Trevor, despite how he is, is the most sentimental out of them and stresses loyalty a lot. Michael did something treacherous, but that's not his whole personality. His whole personality, the sarcasm, the cynicism, is a self-image thing because he's sees it as he's in a movie, which is his aspiration, but he does grow over time.
I agree, especially considering that Vic Vance’s actions were far worse than Luis’s. Vic built an entire drug empire, which became his main source of income, alongside other serious crimes like robbery, smuggling, loan sharking, and running a prostitution ring. Meanwhile, Luis Lopez was just Gay Tony’s bodyguard-small-time compared to Vic. It's ironic how the kindest GTA protagonists ends up being a major criminal, right up there with Tommy Vercetti.
Well, I wouldn't consider them as evils too exception for Claude and Toni tho, but I meant as evil in actions if you get what I mean, like CJ killing the construction workers for just flirting with his sister, that was really unnecessary and evil tho, he could've just ruined their thing without killing or maybe beaten them but what he did was insane, and you can apply this for other characters, while Vic and Luis, they were not really that bad in acts, they usually did things due to influence around them.

To me Niko is the most realistic character. The evil he has commited is very grounded in reality. Other GTA protagonists are too much over the top personalities and kind of cartoonish.

So eventually end there legal stream of money flow. As for Niko you can say that Derrick might not be a problem for him if Niko said no but the problem was Francis because Francis already had his files and knew the crimes he had done so really he had no choice otherwise Niko seriously had to face trouble from Francis Mcreary, he was well reputed officer almost verge of being a Commissioner so there was really no choice because telling no to Francis might have caused a War between Niko and Francis instead of Derrick or Francis.

Nico's best friend is little jacob. If he calls for a game of pool in the middle of the mission, i'm dropping the mission. LJ isn't even really involved in Nico and Roman's entanglements witht he mob and the UPL, unlike Packie, he just helps Nico out because he's a friend.

Mike: Save Asuka's niece, Yuka and kill Vinnie for betraying him. Toni: Kill Vincenzo for betraying him and having him killed, loyalty to Salvatore. Victor: Saving Phil, Louise, Reni and Lance and wanting to save his younger brother, Pete. Kill the Mendez brothers and Jerry Martinez. I have played Gta lcs so i know a bit of good things toni did : Toni Goods : helping toshiko kasen deal with her bad husband saving maria many times being extremely loyal to Salvatore and his mother yeah that's it he is certainly not the best guy but he has done some good things

@@Zeekass Actually the worst thing Luis did was killing a lot of cops in the mission were he has to steal the train for Yusuf Amir and since considering those were legal cops on there duty, this is worst thing he did because the cops were doing there duty of stopping Luis but Luis killed them just to steal the train for Yusuf who was already rich enough to afford anything and Luis shouldn't have said yes to him and turned down the work but Luis actually took a lot of innocent cop lives just of please Yusuf by getting train for him for no valid reason.

Nico's best friend is little jacob. If he calls for a game of pool in the middle of the mission, i'm dropping the mission. LJ isn't even really involved in Nico and Roman's entanglements witht he mob and the UPL, unlike Packie, he just helps Nico out because he's a friend.

2. tommy helped noncriminal people too, he saved love fist from a psycho fan.

Trevor ruined Floyd's life and even abused him but it is implied that Debra was the one that killed him, not Trevor, in fact on the news it says a man in an house (Floyd) got shot and Debra was the one with the pistol
Originally , In the PS3 files , it's stated in the mission files , that Trevor originally KILLED Floyd and Debra , but they changed it for some reason

Also did you know that originally it was also planned to make michael kill the janitor and there's a cutscene for it in the game files but it was scrapped so it makes sense for the developers to change their minds on trevor killing floyd too
