I still look fondly at my MTG spin downs. Would love attack, resource or armor counters. I worry about LGSs having too many products and not being able to move them all... but in theory I like this.
I agree 100%. Even with my fatigue with MTG, I've bought a bundle for every set this year. FAB Bundles, especially with dice or tokens, I would go nuts for.
I'd totally buy these alongside my regular case or two!! I use regular storage boxes as a place for my builk and it's hard to keep track of which set is in which box. This would totally solve that issue. Also dices are perfect addition, as well as the acryllic pitch counter. I could even see these things replacing the current blitz decks, so that there isn't too much product going around, with each box representing diferrent hero; with the promo art that they used to have + Hero divider. That would entice me to buy all 3+ bundles and I wouldn't even mind :D
Themed bundles by character that come with a precon+packs and matching dragon shield arts, armor D6, attack D6 resource coins… they could even do promotions with fabmetaltokens. More things like round the table and even the classic battles set too please. Im actually ok with exclusive cards but only if they come as a full set in one bundle. Like you said id hate to have to buy multiples…
Glad someone spoke out. Bundles would be nice. They should do this and lower the print runs of booster box by a lot in combination maybe even destroy old product / open and use packs to move down over printed current sets.
You kinda got what you were looking for, there is a great entry level coming in the 1000 ct storage box. Its only 3 packs, but it comes with a playmat, and all three of the new heroes blitz decks
As someone who loves buying boxes, I love this idea. The only flaw I can see is that LSS isn't big enough (yet) to make something like this affordable unless they can guarantee the sales. Round the table had a really good reception with the help of the professor but the classic battles however... I'm not saying I wouldn't buy something like this from my lgs, but I know plenty of players who default between boxes/cases and just buying singles. A product like this really needs the target customers to work at a price that they can afford. TL:DR I love the idea, but LSS needs to really crunch numbers to make it work.
A bundle with something unique to the bundle would be awesome. Maybe include smaller versions of the attack power and resource floating dice that are in the content creator kit
Yooooooo! A blitz deck + 6 packs would be absolute fire. You can play pre-con or upgrade your deck with the cards you get in the pack. OR you can play sealed with your friends. OR you can do all three- play with your precon, then do sealed, then upgrade your deck and play again. At $35 (actual price, not MSRP), it would be the equivalent of 1/4 of a booster box + a blitz deck. If they discounted it to $30, it would be an incredible introduction to the set for new and casual players. Ever since my daughter was born, I haven't had as much time to play so I've been a lot more casual. I was interested in Dusk Til Dawn but I couldn't justify spending ~$400 on a case like I used to since I'm not playing regularly. But I would have definitely gotten a $30 Elite Trainer Box equivalent. Heck, I would have done the same for Bright Lights even though I barely paid attention to the spoilers.
Absolutely love and agree with your ideas. Indeed, there's just something about sealed products that's so fun when you open then, so more variations of sealed products are a good next step. When I was a kid, I loved the inclusion of paper damage and poison counters in Pokemon theme decks, and would be interested to see FaB provide something like these as well. And bundles would be a good way to enjoy the game differently for experienced players, and a good "bit of everything" to help newer players to start playing. Waiting for these to happen now.
Printrun could be less, but with that being said, singles are doing quite well. And fun fact. Lots if people playing flesh and blood also plays on talishar, all of those i know does. I try to go to my lgs ones a week, but between that I go on talishar. If you compare november/december 2022 with the same period in 2023, we have an increase in games being played of 55% in one year, going from 110.000 games to 170.000 games, that is freaking awesome🤟 I would say that overall the playerbase is for sure growing😊🥰🍻
I loved buying just one fatpack per set even when I couldn't really afford to play magic. Just reveling in the artwork and looking through the booklet...
Would it make sense for LSS to buy up some supply of the way over printed boxes and crack them, putting loose packs in a bundle? Like a Monarch/Tales/Everest bundle where 1st edition packs are seeded and maybe a chance at older stuff? Might be a great move to flush some inventory and balance the secondary market... Just make the extra goodies desirable. A bundle is a great idea!
I think this a really good idea. I’d like a fab fat pack. I think they need to reduce print run numbers too. I can get on board with fab 2.0 if a store can sell at MAP and be a good deal for the customer.
The experience of opening a box is not getting stuff that is worth money and sell instantly. its nice to have a card guaranteed per case but it simply means you buy a case and open boxes until you got the card and sell the boxes to someone you scam making them think they have a chance to pull the case card.
Add one desirable reprint in each $40-$50 bundle. Have a 1 promo per bundle out of a set of 5 or so, that way people have a reason to buy multiple bundles. Imagine if Teklo foundery heart NF was one of these, more players would experiment with mech if they had a Foundery Heart laying around as a promo.
Great take! I kind of 'come from the future' around 8 months later and I have a question about the CC precons: what do you think of the armoury decks? Is this the product you had in mind? Also about the bundle: I love FAB, I have basically been around since WTR alpha but only bought later in the game. However I'm not a highly competitive player, I like it more casual with some nice majestics thrown in the decks. Personally I don't buy booster boxes anymore as they are not worth it for my consuption of FAB (casual play and also collecting), but I have bought every bundle type of product LSS put out so far: round the table, the one for part the mistveil and now rosetta (pre-order). So far I can say that I absolutely love this product and it would be amazing if LSS would include acrylic tokens, card dividers and maybe even the hero sleeves. I would keep the playmat, the blitz precons and some boosters, I find it great. This way it really is a perfect beginner set or a perfect gift for players collectors as well. BUT!: make the precons as good as in round the table. These are the best precon blitz decks I've seen so far with if I'm not mistaken full playsets, cold foils, rainbow foils etc. That would be an amazing product. So that, OR (it just came to my mind), if they want to make even more money or if they want more flexibility they can keep these bundles per set, or they make bundles per hero, or per class? Could be interesting too but then I guess it introduces the pb for the LGSs of moving the product if ppl don't buy indicidual heros.
I've been keeping an eye on Flesh and Blood and I'm typically a Yu-Gi-Oh player, and I have to say I wish this was something every card game would do. Yu-Gi-Oh suffers greatly from this imo because when someone looks to get into the game they only see either random blisters or the structure decks, which you need to buy 3 of in order to even have something playable. Every card game needs this intermediate "upgrade" style product that's good for players who might not want to pull full booster boxes constantly.
So many comments on print runs following Rudy's video. Surely there were some mishaps, but i assume the print runs are probably fine for the long term. FAB is still a young game, expanding formats and player base will continue to drive demand. Seems good people will have access to products for years to come as LSS grows.
Before I stopped buying into MTG completely, the only sealed product I was buying was the bundles. I don't buy any FaB booster boxes now and mostly just get singles. Would 100% buy a bundle equivalent from every set. This is especially the case because FaB hasn't hit product overload yet.
I never buy a booster box of pokemon... But I almost always buy a prerelease deck and an ETB every set. It's just a lot more fun to open the box, promo cards and packs. I dont feel jipped if I didnt get much out of it bc I get some cool things with it.
As an absolute brand new FaB player i agree. I would have bought the shit out of these bundles. When i started to go to events i used my pokemon bundle die to keep track of resources and the boxes to store the commons and rares
Bundle is good only if one is a first-time buyer; not cost effective after. So, create a bundle/kit and then a 4-6pk booster box and reel in the printrun numbers of the booster box. Yeah, this would be fine.
The problem with boxes, is that despiste the fact you hit a good box (a Legendary, a Marvel, some majestics), probably You don't get the money back, the Legendary and the Marvel can make 20 bucks each, and the majestics usually don't sum up the other 40 bucks to make the box proffitable Also, starting with dynasty I feel LSS started to include more majestics in the sets, leading to more no playable or just 50 cents majestics Btw, yeah, I'd love to see bundles and cool dices
I don’t know if others are like me, but I find myself only buying one of this style of product if I’m interested. If that’s the case one per person would be a hard sell as a product.
Promote and Hype this video till LSS can't NOT see it! And we also need to know when/if they are gonna do 'new' free starter decks to replace Ira or not. Or... Are they just leaving it to the Community to build Commoner Decks from all the Bulk? I'm COOL with that, but can we also get a Product Pack of other stuff from LSS to use to promote/set up Social Play things even if we aren't an LGS?
How is this game still around? I tried to get into it around 2020 or 2021, whenever Monarch came out. There was basically ZERO interest from all but ONE other person at the store that I went to on a regular basis back then. Not long after Monarch, I changed stores and NO ONE there played, and the store didn't even sell FAB. I'm in a large metropolitan area, and it's pretty much just Magic Commander, with a few stores doing some Modern, Pioneer, Standard, and even Pauper. Then it's YGO and some Pokemon. I'm all for new games, and I did like some things about FAB, but it and these other new card games really need to do a better job of supporting LGSs and making tournament play a thing.
You’re living under rock then? There is thriving tournament scene with some odd hundred of players doing it for the living.. Also things might have changed in past 2-3 years, don’t you think?
Yeah my lgs stopped carrying shortly after release too everyone lost interest and the owner said lss was really difficult to work with. I give it 3-5 years probably. If it sticks around it's gonna stay in that same little pocket with stuff like digimon and one piece. Lorcana's popularity isn't doing it any favors either. From my experience casual play is boring and the high powered competitive stuff is locked behind a 1000 dollar paywall. Idk what it is now but when I tried to play a comp set of equipment was over 500 by itself
Where do you see these $100 boxes? I see the new sets going for like $60-$70. At these prices what is the point of bundles? Their issue is they are overprinting their boxes to the point that none can stay at even msrp. You are suggesting they print MORE? LOL
I could see this if there were 20 different products, but right now there's only a few. And having one complimentary product besides the boxes I think would be beneficial
It’d be same product just in packaging more convenient for players. Not everyone buys a box. But something like “half box” worth of boosters with nice box to store cards and stuff like metal/plastic tokens would be neat, if correctly priced.
We need a bundle type product for sure. I don't know how LSS has gone so long without one honestly.
Yes! I have been saying this again and again, we need like a fat packs from mtg. I freakin loved those as a kid.
Because LSS is going broke.
You're now my favorite youtuber.
The haircut was the cherry on the cake, gorgeous.
Glad you enjoyed the joke lol
I love your energy. Thanks for being part of this community!
Happy to be here!
Love every facet of this idea. I’m certain LSS has something down the line.
I hope so
I'd totally buy these alongside my regular case or two!! I use regular storage boxes as a place for my builk and it's hard to keep track of which set is in which box. This would totally solve that issue.

That would entice me to buy all 3+ bundles and I wouldn't even mind :D
By God LSS give this man a job
They should do something like pokemon’s trainer’s toolkit box where they include cheap generic staples.
Casual player here, I would buy this so hard. It just feels wrong to currently have my FaB cards in a MtG box.
I'm tryna buy a dori elite hero box with dori sleeves yo
Glad someone spoke out. Bundles would be nice. They should do this and lower the print runs of booster box by a lot in combination maybe even destroy old product / open and use packs to move down over printed current sets.
Hi moved from mtg to FaB cause of ur video keep going nice edit 🔥🔥
Glad to have you on board!
Welcome to FaB!!!
I would totally grab at least one per set even if I wasnt too into the set! Especially with dice and such, lore book would be awesome!
My guess is that LSS is already working on this very thing based on latest James White interview.
Great idea. I know I'd buy one of each set.
Nice idea ! Send this to JW!
You kinda got what you were looking for, there is a great entry level coming in the 1000 ct storage box. Its only 3 packs, but it comes with a playmat, and all three of the new heroes blitz decks
This is a winner idea
I love bundels. It givs a cool card box to. Ther are also sets that i am not in to but wuld still buy a bundel
YESSSSSSSSSSS OMG I AGREE, as soon as i saw the pokemon fat pack.
10 PACKS!!, Plastic Acrylic TOKENS!, Card Dividers
Need i go on!!
Also thank you.

That's what Sorcery is doing with their precons
This a good idea I approve this message for what it's worth.
This is one of those moments where it doesn't matter if the video is done or not! Ship it cause it's so damn relevant right now!
You saying I don't finish my videos? 😠
hahahaha nooooooo! I'm saying the timing is too damn perfect to miss even if you thought it wasn't you perfectionist!@@Sloopdoop
I haven't played FAB since Aria crept everything I owned and I love this content.
Yes. I would buy this. A lot of this.
i really like your style. because you dont just blame or hate but being respectful. also nice haircut!
Like this idea. Great vid!
100% agree. Another great video!
What if they put Dragonshields in there? What if…
That would be an expensive bundle lol
Noooo please just no.
A bundle with something unique to the bundle would be awesome. Maybe include smaller versions of the attack power and resource floating dice that are in the content creator kit
I do like this kind of product. I hope we have some in the future.
Yooooooo! A blitz deck + 6 packs would be absolute fire. You can play pre-con or upgrade your deck with the cards you get in the pack. OR you can play sealed with your friends. OR you can do all three- play with your precon, then do sealed, then upgrade your deck and play again.

LSS LISTEN TO THIS MAN!
Only on this. Don't listen to me for like anything else, I'm kinda dumb usually lol
If the fat pack is like pokemons? I'm keen

Why do you say legendary is one per case in FaB when this has not been true for many sets now? It is much more often since Uprising right?
Hey LSS, I'd buy this!
would buy for sure, +1
SLOOPY DOOPY
Thx for the video
U have my thumbs up and a too large jacket ☺️☝🏻
YESSS! I've been saying this for a while!

In Australia, they're selling for 75-80Usd but the dollar is a little weak against Usd otherwise it would be more than that.
Yugioh getting unnecessary amount of shade
Hell ya
Just look at bandai, they can sell a lot of shiny products for their shitty games
LSS needs to step up the products, they are being too cautious
Are you trying to make me poor? I'm so sick of your good ideas.
Just buy singles. Anyone who wants to play competitively is going to have to spend 900-1200 anyways
#buySingles
Id love looking your videos. But why? I am in Russia and we have 10 players community
no, we dont need more products.
if you cant afford to spend $100 on a box then it ain't for you.
You can buy boxes for less than that, imo the game and art are unique and is definitely a good selling point
More products weakens its main products
I could see this if there were 20 different products, but right now there's only a few. And having one complimentary product besides the boxes I think would be beneficial
It’d be same product just in packaging more convenient for players.
Not everyone buys a box. But something like “half box” worth of boosters with nice box to store cards and stuff like metal/plastic tokens would be neat, if correctly priced.
