This means that the teams playing in the ACC Championship Game will have both suffered embarrassing upsets at home to unranked opponents. And if that wasn't embarrassing enough for one of the teams playing in that game next week, they can enjoy more embarrassment knowing that their top-ranked men's basketball team also lost on the same day to an unranked opponent.

Yep the gamecocks are finally up and coming in the SEC again for the first time In a long time. Shane Beamer is definitely the head coach they’ve been searching for for several years and they finally got it! I’m a lifelong UGA fan but the Carolina gamecocks are my second top team because I also have lots of family and a sister who are USC alumni. So I’m very happy to see this program finally getting big again! Overdue and deserved for the fan base as they are one of the most loyal and fired up fan bases in the SEC. South Carolina love their gamecocks football!!
As Coach Beamer said: South Carolina has been in it's own version of the College Football Playoffs. Two 1-loss teams, one ranked #5 one ranked #8, one at home one on the road! SC are the end-of-the-year National Champions :)

As embarrassing as it was for sc to beat Tennessee, it makes me feel a little better since they took down another top 10 team. They're a good football team that couldn't quite put it together early but they are playing really good football as of late. Definitely salvaging a season that was as good as lost not long ago. You gotta respect it.

Also, if we are being honest, Spencer Rattler isn’t the greatest QB ever either. He has his moments, but he’s not Stetson Bennet, or Bryce Young, or Max Duggan, or even JJ McCarthy. He routinely makes bad calls and poor throws, so much so that he got ran out of Oklahoma (luckily for him before they got run into the basement), but when he pulls it together, he really does pull it together

I was at this game. I had a bottle thrown at my head in the first quarter; thankfully it missed. Good family friends told me, "If you win, when that clock hits zero, you better RUN."
So when the clock ticked down to zero, my friends and I made our exit. Funnily enough, the same Clemson fans that were chatting endless amounts of shit before the game were actually coming up and congratulating us for the victory. And I similarly gave them good remarks because it was a hard fought game.
I doubt I will ever set foot in Death Valley again though.
