Aishwarya Lekshmi is an India actor who has worked in mostly all South Indian languages and is hugely popular in the south. In a short span of time, she has worked with many top Directors and Superstars. She started with Njandukalude Naatil Idavela and was noticed for her work in Mayanadhi. Her movies, Kaane Kaane, Vijay Superum pournamiyum were huge hits. Now she has starred in the Mani Ratnam movie as the character Poonguzhali in Ponniyin Selvan1 and PS2 and has earned rave reviews. She has also turned producer and co-produced Gargi and the movie Kumari.

I am not ruining the mood of this interview but to be honest she couldn't do justice to Kumari which was a very expressive character. On the other hand just think what if Surabhi Lakshmi did the title role, she could have taken it another level even though she was a co actor in it. Maybe Surabhi doesn't have that star value that Aishwarya possess. Same like Indrajith is a better actor but Prithviraj has more star value.

Her first movie had released then..
Aishu is an amazing human and a wonderful artist. But.... Kumari didn't work for me ( this is a personal opinion) there was something missing, something didn't feel right. Aa thrill kitti Ella. Shine Tom Chacko's dialogues didn't make any sense, sometimes inaudible. The climax also didn't have the punch that was expected. It was a good try but it didn't pack the punch that we were expecting.
I love this kind of interviews.. Pls be like this dhanya .. Dont add rapid fire kind of stupid items

I've asked this before and didn't get an answer. Why Dhanya are you holding onto this archaic, repressive second name of yours. You seem like someone who understands things and yet I would really like to know what is holding you back from dropping your caste based surname. Do you not know how much of a letdown that is?
