This looks exactly like what the Annihilator was originally designed to do: plant itself near something important and shoot anything that moves. This thing looks like it's just begging to get ganked by a light 'mech, I can see a Flea, Locust, Mist Lynx, etc having a field day playing under the guns.
They should have allowed it to fire 3 Gauss at once just to make it special, then could 3/2. The 5th by itself is just so awkward. After all, aren't the Legendary mechs supposed to be special?
Unfortunately the Cauldron would just nerf it later anyways….I haven’t bought a Legendary since the Scattershot debacle. I just don’t trust the Cauldron or PGI anymore that I’m going to spend $15 on a mech only to have them nerf it a month or two later. It’s too bad really, because I love the game and spend quite a bit of money on it…but I haven’t spent a penny since the February Legendary’s (Dreadnaught and Scattershot)
The sad thing is, that pilot probably thinks he came up with a great mech loadout. 2nd lowest score on his team and only 90 damage points higher than a light mech says otherwise.
@@TTBprime If you do this, there's no lurming back from it. There will never be enough soap, hard scrub brushes, showers and shots at the free clinic to remove the lurm ick.🤢🤮
Last night I had a match where one of my teammates had a Juggernaut with LRM-20s and machine guns. Made me so angry. He was also super fresh towards the end of the match.
First match with this i detonated a commando who COMPLETELY missed me as he tried to get behind the team.....while i was still catching up. The force of dual gauss at 50/100m was enough for him to ragdoll so hard he kicked himself in the back of the head; It was at this moment i knew i would love this mech
TTB, you need to buy that Urbie for match 2a drink! He kept the attention of that Stone Rhino and Fafnir while you absolutely demolished them. Great showing!
Are you not allowed to take Clan XLs on this? I'm assuming it just doesn't fit with 5xGauss but if you did something more practical I'm assuming you can
personally i dropped 1of the rifles in flavor of an ER-ppc and a much bigger engine (upgraded engine to an xl300 with 2 heat sinks in it, moved the ct heat sync into the left torso (where i removed the extra rifle from) and slapped a ppc into the opening.and upped the ammo total to 6 tons) (er ppc has the same range and comes in handy to disrupt ECMs (plus it give you something to slap the steath lights that are going to come after you with)
@@sullentamp9140 ct is an energy hard point. PPCs are energy and because despite the annihilator being a IS design gsusszilla is clan it can fit a clan er ppc which only takes up 2 slots
Mech looks interesting. Games were…Ooph. I was about to say, at least in game two your teammates threw their mechs away in a place you could still shoot at the enemy, but then it just seemed to go downhill again.
On mw5 mercs this thing TARES my only issue is it moves as fast as a constipated 6 story building..but has enough armour to both make king crab and atlas blush.
*METHWARRIOR ONLINE DEVS: WE NEED MORE METH RELEASE GAUSSZILLA* honestly tho i would ditch that 5th gauss and slot an ac10, that way i could do 40dmg hits on a shoooort cooldown
IMHO Incursion and Assault are poorly balanced on Crimson Strait, as especially in the first match. What are your thoughts? Also, are you getting a lot of matches where the team just falls apart? I'm finding it very hard to get a team that doesn't just split up all over the place or commits to a plan.
Was wondering why they were so behind in that first match then you see the score screen. An annihilator and a stone rhino together barely breaching 100, 3/4 of the team adding up to just ttb's damage. So sad, seems like some kiddies need to go back to mech school

the devs are making methwarrior online so nothings gonna make sense. all they want is your money. and lots of it.
Yeah, but if it could fire three, that's just more incentive for people to buy it and pay them money.
@@ghoulbuster1 I find that hard to believe, unless they coded it in a very different way to the ghost heat scale check.

There are not words to properly describe the pure physically revulsion I felt upon seeing the Fafnir was an LRM boat.

Valid choice, always focus the pocket assault mech!
Seems like 4 and a large laser would be better. But that was pretty sick.
I think that's what I have running on my build
Hey, when you put a 6 x LRM20 build out there in the universe, you can’t look down on a man’s Wrath no mo.
Leg seeking lrms really need to be fixed. Also, interesting this can take clan heat sinks but not a clan engine.
Looks like the standard engine is the same between IS/clan.
Are you not allowed to take Clan XLs on this? I'm assuming it just doesn't fit with 5xGauss but if you did something more practical I'm assuming you can
First thing I looked at was the speed: 32.4 KPH! Yep, that's a turret alright!!
Speed? You are actually seeing movement here? :)
4:12 probably went between the arm and side torso.
I replaced the fifth Gauss with a ERPPC. Gave me a bigger engine, more armor and more suitable handling.

At that point, the kodiak is pretty much objectively better due to mounts.

Pour one out for the Panther pilot. Held out really well at the end.
Start of the 2nd match was "fish, meet barrel". lol
I'd love to see this mech in the hot tub sniper nest! Forgot the name of the map.
I found my new main once I get a PC again.
God the amount of headshots to be had-
I'd do something similar to this with a Direwolf in MW2. Good times.

1/2 I saw some shit during that match. A pristine LuRMing "Fapnir" in the end - it's painfull to see, how lame team's target discipline can be.
somewhat interesting would be, in the dropdeck, is it IS, Clan, both or neither
UI suggests Clan, and it makes sense considering there's no difference between this and a non-omni Clan mech

You're basically just looking for lucky crits with this build. I wonder what the numbers would look like with a big targeting computer?
i am using 5 lbx 10, not bad
I prefer 6 lol
My god, is that even possible? I thought you could only fit like 2 gauss rifles on a mech. my my times have changed need to get back in the game!
Did u not talk about the quirks?
4xGauss + ER PPC will be popular won't it?
no shooting 2x Gauss and a ERPPC at the same time will cause a lot of ghost heat. 4x Gauss and a ERLL will work better
Seems kinda weird the Gausszilla's equipped with Clan Gauss. Does this mean it equips any Clan ballistic weapons?
Was gonna buy this but 20 USD for the cobra skin? Cummon PGI
I wonder if you can get a macro to chainfire all the weapons.
Sure. It'll half your DPS, so I fail to see the reason why, but it would be doable.

Horrible mech, but when in its niche, excellent, I would take a lighter marauder any day over that thing.
This thing is an abomination and should be removed from the game
