Such a great idea to buy fabric to test on! I've wasted so many pricey blanks testing prints!

It's been a (cost-effective) lifesaver so many times!

I tried the lint roller and I tried parchment paper to stop getting the extra print off the top of my press 😅 but nothing is working and my print keeps going through to the back of the blank shirts help I’m losing money on 40 shirts

You can use a pressing pillow between the front and back of your shirts to keep the transfer from going all the way through :)

Great suggestions! Do ICC codes only work on photoshop, and other paid softwares?

Nope! You can use them with most programs on a Mac or PC. I am working on a video-hopefully Monday Oct 31!!

Thank you, Cori! I have been fortunate with my sublimation efforts. Only one failure, and that was because of a poor-quality blank. I'm anxious to watch your video on ICC profiles and printer setting for converted Epson Eco-Tank printers. I don't think mine needs tweaking, but I will be anxious to see. I appreciated Cheryl Spangenberg's presentation from this summer's sublimation camp. I tried many of her suggestions. 😀

Yes, it's coming soon! It's actually very similar to my class from Sublimation Camp, so if you have the All-Access pass, you can watch it there! But it will be up here sometime soon. And yes, Cheryl is one of my favorite people! She's such a great teacher.

    Hi Cori!
I loved this. I am new to sublimation and waisted sooo much money on blanks. This idea is perfect. I also have an issue with my colors not being vibrant...sort of faded. I noticed that the top of my image on my tumbler and the bottom of my image is darker than the middle part of my image. I tape the top, bottom, seam, then vacuum seal it with the white sleeve. Press is on 365 for 75s....any ideas?

Hi April! Glad you found the video helpful. For your tumblers, I think your press may be too long? I press for 120 seconds at 400 and then rotate and press again for 120 (so I can get all the way around the tumbler). Here's my video on that: th-cam.com/video/brsQMIvNuJA/w-d-xo.html
Let me know if that helps! :)

I'm just getting started in sublimation and I got the brown butcher paper. I didn't know I was supposed to have white. This brown has no coating or anything on it. Is it ok to use or do I need to get white? Thank you for any help.

You should be fine with brown. Give it a try on a test item, first but I think it'll work fine!

Nice video. Cricut design space has images of Mickey, etc, that are around $2 for purchase. Are those legal to use?

    • @HeyLetsMakeStuff

They are legal to use for your personal use only. You can't sell products with them. You can read more in their Angel Policy (click Angel Policy in the sidebar of this page): cricut.com/legal Hope that helps! :)
