That 04 bulldogs team was one of the best I can remember in terms of just pure talent. They had like 8 current of future internationals in the starting 13 and then the bench consisted for Roy Asotasi, Reni Maitua, Sonny Bill Williams and Jonathan Thurston
people forget the cowboys beat them in that first semi final too because Utai couldn't catch the high ball under Matt Sing

I miss the fire in the BULLDOGS...that fiery flare that was just always present in all their games. This era was one I could never forget, the DOGS were on a roll and were unstoppable. The new pups should be mentored by some of these older players to bring back the flare.

In my opinion the 04 bulldogs & 17 storm are the 2 greatest teams ive ever seen. Only times I knew 100% they were gonna win the gf before the game was played
Steve Price was the Captain of the team but missed the 04 GF through injury in the prelim. He was part of Bulldogs prior GF win in 1995 with Terry Lamb Captain. Legendary team.
