Just a tip... Sleeping in your car/campervan in Denmark is regulated in the parking rules. If there is no parking limits you are good to take a nights sleep. But no camping, with awnings out, and chairs and tables...
I can reccommend Løkken in the North of Denmark, really good place for beginners/Intermediate surfers. Also some big waves if the swell is right :D Edit: Also it is allowed to sleep on the beach in municipality of "Jammerbugt" (Where løkken is located)

Depends on the wavesize. You can not tell it exactly. Also important is the direction. The less the better
Too crowded, waves are overrated
Don't go
France, Portugal and Spain is at least a thousand times better
