Damned right. I remember concerts where any kind of camera or audio recording device, were confiscated. Filming like this is useless. You'll never watch it again. Film it with your brain, full color, HD, Dolby Atmos... Priceless! Oops, I said THE word>>brain...
HATE phones at gigs and concerts, ruins the moment....ive been lucky to go to hundreds of gigs over the years and never taken one photo or video, don't need to as I can remember them in my mind, don't need to post a shaky poor quality video to brag about it....the best way to enjoy live music is to live every second, take in the sound, watch the performance and keep your bloody phone in your pocket....
What is it with people , literally everyone having their phones out filming the moment rather than listening to and enjoying the moment and consigning it to memory. Next year Sting should sing a song entitled "no fucking phones!" or "message in a phone"

Life long Police and Sting fan. what strikes me most & shocks me is all these people chosen to be in the inner sanctum & every single one of them is recording this impromptu performance on a device - videoing on phones & cameras! Jesus! Imagine performing & facing that? Made worse because it's a small, intimate gathering. It really is an indictment on where things are going. Why cant people just watch and treasure the moment. Standing there recording it must surely detract from your experience. Sad.
