It will certainly be a challenge , being new to airbrushing , I'll be taking my time. I plan to build the grey version with Tamiya's pzkpfw 3 type L for the trailer . Thanks again for the inspiration Cheers , M .

    Hi there,
Thanks very much for the video. I have the straight Famo version (kit 239), without the trailer. I agree it is a stunning kit. Can't wait to see your build.
    Thank you.

Thank you for video and review
Are the tracks snap with out glue
Are they articulate or easily positionable?
Have u ever build the metal fruilmodel tracks for this kit?

      Hi Don
Thanks for your feedback it’s much appreciated. The tracks with this kit glue together nicely with Tamiya extra thin glue and when wrapped around the running gear can be modelled with a realistic sag over the top return rollers. I’ve not used any Fruilmodel tracks but would like to try them at some point.👍

Great review thank you . Which Tamiya tank should I build to go on the trailer? Thank you and regards, Rob UK

Thanks for the feedback Rob. With regards to which tank to put on the trailer they were able to carry anything from a panzer 2 through to a panzer 4, a popular vehicle is the stug 3. Tamiya do all of these tanks and they are all really nice to build and detail. I hope this helps and would love to see your finished build. Best regards Ian👍

Brilliant review of this Tamiya Famo tank transporter, which I have just ordered, I am going to buy a 1/35 Tamiya tank to make the model look complete….. would a Tamiya’s 35378-00035378 ….1/35 ….Pz.Kpfw IV panzer be appropriate…

Thanks for the kind words and feedback. I’m planning to build my Famo with a late war Pz.Kpfw from Rye Field Models so this choose from Tamiya will work perfectly fine. I’m no expert but I think that the panzer iv was the largest German tank that the Famo unit was designed to transport, though I have heard of instances where lager vehicles were moved using this platform.

Has it changed any, or are the twelve? guys still all identical? In fact they were also identical to the chieftain mkV crew.

Hi thanks for your feedback. The men are very similar to one and other with only minor differences to tell them apart, that said they all look to be detailed enough to to produce a good looking finished model👍
