Sea Trial of Seakeeper Gyro Bertram 25 - Scotty powers both Gyro & charges Lithium for up to 24hrs

This is a boat of the future. It is fitted out by @finesse_boatbuilding of Mackay. If you are not familiar with a @seakeeper Gyro, they stabilise a boat. This is achieved by spinning a mass at high speed in a vacuum. The resultant energy absorbs the ocean waves and creates a 97% reduction in roll. Running this Seakeeper can consume up to 50A at 12V at startup and then it drops depending on sea conditions. In this sea trial we show the results: up to 975W (80A at 12V) of charging AS WELL AS running the Seakeeper. Just an abundance of power from these twin Verado’s. Jack will run induction cooking, electric hot water and is installing an aircon for overnight stays on the reef this summer.
