While I'd love another arc that focuses on a new cast we've never gotten before, I think the 9th arc will be focused on Squirrelstar's reign as Thunderclan's leader. However I fully expect we'll eventually get a DOTC 2.0 sometime in the future. Really excited for Wind, not only is the cover art stunning, but the story so far has been very entertaining. And the next super edition is for ivypool.... like seriously, who isn't hyped for that!

Regarding the graphic novel:
I love the little changes in they story they're making in the graphic novel for the first two books, like having Princess involved from the beginning. And not only that, they are seemingly fixing some mistakes, like not mentioning that Dustpaw will be Darkstripe's "first apprentice", or calling Smallear the oldest cat in the Clan (unlike the Allegiances for the first arc that would call One-eye the oldest cat).
Regarding the 17th Super Edition:
Regarding Ivypool's Heart, I doubt that it has anything to do with Squirrelstar not receiving her nine lives as I firmly believe she did; at the very least we know she spoke with StarClan, as they told her about Nightheart. Anyway, I don't think all three of them (Squirrelstar, Brambleclaw and Alderheart) would lie so perfectly about it xD Squirrelstar yes, we all know she can lie very well (;p), Brambleclaw too though he strongly dislikes too and there was only one or two cases when he did (about Hollyleaf, and maybe about Onewhisker being choses as deputy), but with how he is now I doubt he could lie so convincingly or be so visible relaxed. But Alderheart? Nope, I don't see him lying that good xD
(On that note, can we appreciate Squirrelstar telling Sunbeam about StarClan's message? Leaders aren't supposed to talk about what happens during their ceremony, and Squirrelstar didn't even say anything to her own daughter, Nightheart's mother. But she did tell Sunbeam, because she knows only too well how it feels like to not know what has happened to the cat they love :cries:)
Also, you might have missed an article on the official website that talks briefly on this SE, where it says: "It involves a group of cats being tasked by StarClan with a very important quest." So it seems either StarClan wanted Ivypool specifically to go on this quest, or just Squirrelstar had decided on that, I mean it wouldn't be first time a Clan deputy goes on a quest; aside from Brambleclaw obviously throughout Power of Three, we'd also have Reedwhisker going with Twigbranch and others to bring back SkyClan in the last book of AVOS, or Crowfeather going into Dark Forest in the last book of TBC. As for why this quest could be about... I've seen speculation online that, seeing how this is "Ivypool's Hearth", it might have something to do with Bristlefrost, maybe bringing her back? I'm not sure of that myself, and confused whether that would be a good idea or not. Because as much as I'd love to have Bristlefrost back, bringing her back would diminish her death, which was a very powerful moment. Maybe if they'd also bring back all the other cats that are gone forever, like Tigerstar, so it would balance itself out?
(also regarding this SE taking place during book 6, my initial thought about it, before the article saying Ivypool would be going on a quest, was that book 6 would be taking place in the afterlives again, StarClan and Dark Forest, and the SE would let us see what was happening with the Clans. After all, the 6th book will most likely be called "Star")
Regarding the 9th arc:
I think I would prefer the 9th arc to take place in the present times, it took me a while to get invested with Dawn of the Clans characters and wouldn't want to spend half of the next arc again on learning to care for the new characters xD Thought I'll admit I might be biased as my own fanfiction is taking place in that timeframe, sometime between Dawn of the Clans and SkyClan leaving the forest ^^;
(Also I've been making predictions about the POVs for the next arc - unfortunately Birchkit is my best guess, meaning more Tigerstar's family bulls**t - and I would hate for that to be for nothing ;p or to wait 3 more years until 10th arc xD)
But I agree that there was much more conflict in the past which makes it for much more interesting read (I mean, why do you think I write my fanfic in that time? xD). The battles with BloodClan and Dark Forest really feel like WWI and WWII in that regard with how in the aftermath of them the Clans began trying to coexist more peacefully. Which is understandable of course and I still enjoy the newer books, but conflicts are just so interesting to read, you know? Reading about those times would certainly be fun... and heartbreaking when you remember that the Warrior Code's rule about not killing was only added second to last!
Regarding recap:
Hmm, I think I'm most excited about the rest of ASC arc, or the graphic novel, hard to pick one. If the graphic novel was just about Into the Wild then I would be less excited about it (as it's my least liked book in the first arc actually), but with Fire and Ice in it, we will see so many fun moments, like Cinderpaw's apprenticeship, battle in ThunderClan camp, and Sandpaw starting to crush on Fireheart^^ But ASC had been going really strong so far, I can't wait to see how it ends^^

I'm not sure how I feel about the changes they've made in the adaptation so far. On the one hand it would make sense to condense it a bit - I could see them doing that if they were to make it a film for instance - but in some cases it doesn't feel necessary, like changing the reason for his name from "you look like a brand of fire" to "you fight like a flash of fire". Overall though they seem mostly minor so far, anyway.
And yep, I missed that part of the article, heh, had to go and find it after you mentioned it. I know I *started* reading the 20 years article, but I know I stopped to comment to others about the paragraph describing how the Ultimate Guide had so much effort and care put into it, so I must have either forgotten or been too annoyed to continue, lol. At least it sounds like I was right about it being a separate story away from the Clans!

I always loved the warriors books but I could never finish them due to my adhd, so seeing a graphic novel will definitely help me with that!
I want to see a super edition about Snowtuft! We know so little about him and even he couldn't remember how or why he ended up in the Dark Forest! I think a story about his life while he was alive would be very interesting to read about!
wow the graphic novel looks so good!! ive been actively reading warriors since the release of dawn of the clans and its super exciting to see all of this new content, and all of the small changes are really cool because it shows the writers are still growing and more thoughtful now. i hoping the quality continues to go up and im looking forward to the new books!

SPOILERS FOR ASC THUNDER
I think its very possible with Splashtail taking over RiverClan as leader as of currently, especially with Winds blurb, that as him ambitions grow and his reign that it might throw ShadowClan, WindClan, SkyClan, and ThunderClan into dismay. Just think about it, with how everything went down with past villains like Brokenstar, Darktail, Tigerstar, and Ashfur that it could be very possible for Splashtail to have the type of reign. I am hoping for Sleekwhisker to come back though, or even Mapleshade to make another appearance.

TBH, I'm still ANXIOUSLY waiting for the ARC "Place Of No Stars" to be released on Audiofile here on YT. In the last book I was reading/listening to, it focused on Bramblestar being a ghost, Sky Clan and the Moon Pool being a portal. Macleod Andrews was the narrator, I think. Does anyone know about these I've mentioned? Thank you!🙏❤️

In riverstar's book does star flower have a second litter? It was mentioned in shadowstar's book that she would.
@@aliviahouk7018 The books release in paperback 1 year after hardcover, so Shadow is in April: April 2nd is the exact date according to the catalog. As far as Star Flower, not in Riverstar's book, since it ends before Shadowstar's novella takes place.

I really cant wait for the graphic novel, but i dislike that they cut out the part with the elders and the spottedleaf and darkstripe part. But otherwise everything thing else is amazing, i love the “yay darkstripe”.

'This reveals scourge's collar is purple' fans, this is incorrect. Many Scourge merch shows him with a red collar
Well, the *original* Rise of Scourge cover back in 2008 also had him in a purple collar, and that was the first time we saw it in color - alongside Cats of the Clans, which was released on the same day and shows him with a yellow collar. The only time its color was mentioned in the actual *text* of the books (Leopardstar's Honor), and not just in an illustration/merch (which are often incorrect), it was described as purple.

I’m really exited about the into the wild graphic novel, except hopefully they don’t decide to make most books graphic novels, because reading a series in graphic novel, when there’s chapter books to, kinda feels like cheating a little bit but not really.
