He was incredible as Gyp Rosetti literally made the whole Boardwalk Empire show just so much more authentic, especially in his interactions with Joe Masseria. Just chef's kiss for kino fans, truly.

I saw this movie and realised how weird it felt to see De Niro in his 70s play the character in his 30s. Looking at this scene, it doesn't change my opinion much, But De Niro did a pretty great job trying to keep up!
I promise you, the way he speaks about wanting them to find out what they want to do with their life shows that he cares for them. He'll most likely help them when theyre down on their luck, need extra help, or if he just wants to be generous. He just wants them to not be changed by the money and thats smart
We all praise the legends like De Niro, Pacino, Pesci and Keitel in this movie... But let's also take a moment to appreciate how on point is Bobby Cannavale's acting.
