Good times. Good times. Kind of reminds me of when I got a Fender Mustang 3 v2 amp. I'm not usually a huge fan of modeling amps, but it was somewhat fun (and definitely frustrating) trying to get the sound I was looking for dialed in. In the end I used a clean channel and incorporated my effects pedals. Much easier. That's a great little kit. A chance for some quality time with the family is always welcome as well.
I have an Alesis electronic kit. I wish they mounted the snare the same way Donner does. Alesis provided a snare stand but didn't take into account that the electronic snare drum is 1/3 the height of an acoustic snare drum. So the stand they provide doesn't get the snare drum up high enough. They also included a cheap throne that doesn't allow my 6'2" frame to have my legs bent at the proper angle for the kick drum.
Dig-drums were on my list! But I just found out my friend of 47yrs and band mate for 10yrs! Is in hospice dying of cancer! That pretty much ends things! Bummer! Thanks Marty 🤘
@Ranch5150SkinWalker I'm going to build 1last guitar an aldo nova in tribute to my friend Sammy Styx Sequenzia! Great dummer! 🫡😪 I'm bummed no one to jam with anymore! Thanks Marty 🤘
Yeah no Hot For Teacher with that single kick LOL. Is there room on that bass drum head for two beaters? If so maybe you can just attach a double pedal to it. Just throwing out some ideas, I don't know I'm not a drummer I just know a few beats and fills that's about it :)

Considered one for my grandson. He just got a squire classic vibe I bought at Sweetwater and he may want a drum kit too.
It's a solid kit. He'd probably enjoy it!

I know exactly what you mean - it's a little strange how they mount the snare.

Oh man. Well that really is a bummer. So sorry for you both!!

Very dynamic sensors and you can choke the cymbals. The tech has come a long way.

There actually is and I saw a diagram in the manual for it lol. 😂
Any latency issues? Accurate when you hit the drum head?
Doesn't seem to be any at all. I'm no drummer but it seems spot on.
