- In this tutorial I am showing you how to make bath bomb embeds with an easy recipe. These embeds dry quickly and are rock hard within a few hours.
I used water-soluble dyes in my recipe. You can use lakes or micas. However, you're going to get a smaller color pay-off if you go with micas and you might need to use Polysorbate 80 if you decide to go with lakes.

EMBED RECIPE
100g Baking Soda
2g Kaolin Clay
100g Citric Acid (goes in last)
0.2g water-soluble dye
1.5g hot water
0.3-0.4 g Glycerin
You can add SLSA if you want your embeds to last longer.
Sometimes I just make my embed mix recipe and use the powder as it is without shaping it into cubes or drops.
This is my basic go-to recipe. You can customize it to your needs. I hope this video was useful for you!

I tried it, it turned out very nice, but after a few hours it did not foam at all. Why do you think?
they're not supposed to foam much. these are embeds. we want them to fizz and to shoot colors. if yours didn't fizz then most likely you've added too much water or alcohol and they have activated prematurely.
