Wait a minute, so azerite is the blood or lifeforce of even titan keepers. this is interesting. i know a lot of people believe that Tyr was up to no good, but it seem to me he was the only titan keeper that was actually do something to keep the old God minions at bay.

Honestly, if you think about it all but the aspect of life have been corrupted one way or another. Netharion is a given thanks to the old gods, Malgyos was one his way with trying purge the world of magic, Ysera got corrupted by the emerald nightmare. And finally there is the infinite version of Nozdormu.
They've done a decent job making their downfalls unique from each other. Curious to see Nozdormu's flip play out, and what Alex's version will be. I honestly hope neither of them are Old God related.
The emerald nightmare has ties to the old gods. I dont even know how the emerald nightmare works. The folk of the emerald dream get put into a nightmare and thus in reality they act out in an evil way while suffering from the nightmare i guess. I believe malygos' Insanity came from something he witnessed (that may or may not have to do with old gods) and Nelthation fell to the whispers of the deep. It wouldn't surprise me if the corruption truly is all tied to the old gods. The "timeways" and time itself is too complicated to understand. So Blizzard can either leave it unknown or they'll have to make it clear how Nozdormu's "evil side" came to exist. Honestly corruption almost always has to do with old gods. It's the major conflict going on azeroth anyway. Especially with the legion gone. Ppl used to be corrupted by fel magic and stuff. And the legion's main goal was to annihilate planets so that the void doesn't get to them. You can imagine Alexstraza's downfall being her failure to protect the rest of the dragons as each of them gets corrupted. I just don't see how Kalycgos would get corrupted, nor Ebyssian. So Alexstraza's corruption is something we don't know about probably.
To be fair, life itself IS a corruption from the Titans' design. If it were up to the titans alone, Azeroth would have nothing but automatons running around getting the planet ready to wake up. The old gods are the ones responsible for the curse of flesh and shaping life as we know it on Azeroth

The discs of Tyr were lost to the timeways. In that sense, only a bronze dragon will be able to recover it. Prediction: In order to find the Discs lost to time that have Tyr's memory, Nozdormu willingly becomes Murozond, leaving the Bronze Aspect stewardship in Chromie's hands. Murozond spends his remaining days trying to make this future stop, so he never loses his aspecthood, purposefully trying to alter the past in order to create a timestream that never has him sacrificing his Aspect powers in order to protect the world, and thus, never becoming Murozond in the first place. When Nozdormu sends us to the future, he puts that future in motion. Nozdormu's betrayal is actually more like a sacrifice with consequences. The infinite dragonflight are not aware of this, either. They follow Murozond's orders because they wish to alter the future without understanding Murozond's true intentions, to try to cut a time loop, not create one. But according to Zakaxz, Alexstrasza also betrays the Aspects. The Earth Warder betrayed the planet as a whole and sought to break it, only to be brought down by adventurers led by Alexstrasza. Malygos turned against the magic-using mortals and was ultimately defeated by a group of adventurer heroes sent by Alexstrasza. Ysera was turned against nature by the Emerald Nightmare before being brought down. Nozdormu was sending agents of his new dragonflight to attempt to alter time, only to be brought down by likely the same adventurers who has time and again been turned on the other Aspects. Perhaps, the problem is us. The legacy of the Aspects are over. Was this what Odyn saw when he implored Tyr and the other Titan Keepers not to turn these primitive creatures into guardians of Azeroth? This might also explain why Alexstrasza was unable to activate the Mother Oath Stone. Tyr's fears are preventing it.
I like most of this comment, but, rather than being some moment of farsighted wisdom, I just can't see Odyn as anything but petulant with how he interacted with the rest of the Keepers and with how he went about getting the things that he wanted; i.e. making deals with the Jailer and turning/killing his own adopted daughter Helya to force her into being the start of a slave race of Val'kyr.

I've been playing warcraft since 1994. I lvoe the universe but after Legion, I lost the plot so hard that I have 0 clue as to what the hell is going on. And even Legion was stretching it..
All this is related to an event that transcurred years after the defeat of Galakrond. You can read about it in a book called World of Warcraft: Chronicles. There are three volumes, but the first is the one that tells you exactly what happened by the lore of this campaign we just saw.
you didnt miss much. in legion and every expansion after that the story became like a singleplayer game. legion: every player becomes the leader of their class hall. Bfa: every player has to be the one anchor point needed to defeat n'zoth. Shadowland: every player is the one choosen maw walker who is the only person that has the power to leave the maw. i like the story before. The players where just some mercanary who kills mobs for a little bit of money and it doesnt really affect the world because there are numberless mobs. The raid groups are seen as one unit of mercanaries who are there to do a job and nobody alone is special.
@@DioBrando-qi9so In Wrath, the stated goal of Arthas in ICC was to gather the mightiest champions of Azeroth and turn them into super-DKs to lead the Scourge and conquer the world.
The titans are not all good. We see this with Uldir, the titans were so focused on finding a “Cure” for the old gods they experimented with the blood of Ghuun on its effect on the Loas of the surrounding area that they improperly disposed of the experiments. It is also known the titans purged all of the knowledge of the old gods and their weaknesses, we see this in an item that can be read. It mentions Odyn as a titan keeper.
I feel like everyone is forgetting that we had already foiled Mozdornu's plan theoretically speaking. Remember the infinite being introduced in TBC? Maybe Mozdornu falling to the champions at "End Time"
If we put all hints together including datamined stuff, old il'gynoth whisper and all... she will play at their side willingly or not, we just don't know what will be her downfall since each aspect ended in a diferent way
Blizzard sucks so hard at writing proper lore these days and the “oh we did this huge questline with no outcome BUT wait a sec, Alexstraza is gonna say something fucking stupid like “no matter, we’ll do it together… FRIENDSHIP” 🤦🏼🤮
If I was incharge of the storyline I would finish teh Inifinite Dragonflight stuff, probally as they have it planned out then i would have Alexstraza's become corrupted and have here give the location of Azeroth to teh Void Lords. Then after we defeat alextraza the next expansion could be having to evacuate teh planet because teh void lords are coming to finish corrupting azeroth but what we ahve to do is we have to awaken Azeroth the Titan, who is sleeping. Then we have most of Azeroth escape teh planet and we could see some really cinematic where Azeroth awakens and destroys the planet and defeats teh voidlords. I also think that Azeroth would be destoyed Azerothians would have to find a new planet or place to live and i think that you could tie in Elune who hasnt really be used and have Elune be like an entity with a new planet for the Azerothians.
Just flexing a lore nitpick, anyone else notice they used the zone version of Tirisfal with dead trees i.e after it was corrupted by the scourge? Obviously not worth remaking the zone but if they are re-doing Lordaeron in a new expansion maybe they could have shown Tirisfal as it was pre Scourge?
The corruptions of both Kalecgos and Alexstraza werent laid out as to what did it but I surmise it'll be something like the final boss of FF14 endwalker
Name one instance the old gods lied. It's like in Christian tales, we call the devil the deceiver. Name one time he lied in the entire book. The old gods will twist the truth and maybe cause the corruption in the first place but nothing they have ever said or predicted has not come true. They're not known to lie. People just can't handle the truth and they take advantage of that.
I thought "The Silver Hand" doesn't exist anymore, since Legion reformed them into the Argent Crusade or whatever. Oh I guess they split off again after Legion and pledged themselves fully to the Alliance... lame. I guess a common enemy is the only thing that brought us together long enough for them to recoup and rearm.
iirc doing my legion priest/paladin artifact quests, they introduced a super-secret sect of people that always knew about tyr's tomb and what tyr did and protected it behind the scenes until they didn't.
The idea of all Dragon Aspects falling to old god's corruption is really really cool. Imagine last raid pre final boss as fighting against the 5 corrupted aspects at once: - Deathwing. - Murozond. - Emerald Nightmare Ysera. - Malygos. - Alextrasza.
Ya to be honest I wasn't wanting a repeat of Cataclysm. Pretty boring. I wanted something more unique to DF. They could've made anything up that wasn't a copy paste... oh well not like I mind the Lovecraftian vibes in WoW. Just sayin' something less predictable would've been nice. Nothing could be as awful as them trying to recreate Arthas with Anduin last expansion... that was incredibly cringe worthy.. They just wanted to milk Arthas for the 50th time. Give Anduin no proper development while of course Jaina (Arthas's punching bag) held his hand.. Ugh it was all so awful. Anduin pretending to be a death knight was so painful. When he isn't even officially a paladin yet. Anduin could've had his own saga no Arthas and Jaina. Delve into the madness of shadow priest before officially becoming a paladin. I'm glad he is on the backburner tucked far away somewhere.. the story with him was horrendously executed and not unique. Ugh the notorious trend with WoW trying to reenact the past. For nostalgia purposes... Please don't have DF end completely like Cataclysm.. Black dragonflight has already been solved right? No Deathwing #2? One could only hope...

So pretty much with most of the orginal Aspects having turned on the mortals. I guess that does leave Alexstrasza to turn as well. But as to if and when.
20 years of tyrsfal theorycrafting lore and we get this garbo stock titan model and weapon smaller than a tree vs wotlk boss model cutscene
Am I the only one seeing Alexstraza has a purple sheen to her? even when I go look at her now in Valdrakken she's been like that... it's been that way since Embers of Neltharion dropped and I'm starting to seriously think that it isn't her.
they've all fallen so far with the exception of norzdormu (who's soon) and Alex, I wonder if she'll be the final boss of the last raid?
At the end Nozdormu Is literally saying your quest log is empty wait for next patch, lol
Mine is tho
That thing was just lying to Tyr to mess with him.
the og titan keepers were made of earthly metals. tyr would be the first keeper made of pure titan steel. basically a mini titan
Someone said Coruption comes to nozdurmor in 10.0.5 map quest line maybe it cames to them all
Holy shit Tirisfal Glades had THIS lore attached to it this whole time????? 😲
Stevie's dad from "malcolm in the middle" up in here rolling a paladin?
I feel like everyone is forgetting that we had already foiled Mozdornu's plan theoretically speaking. Remember the infinite being introduced in TBC? Maybe Mozdornu falling to the champions at "End Time"
General Vezexx still lives?!
no he is dead it was a flash back
Different old god general, also a flashback
He was drained by Xalatath in the artifact questine.
different man, flashback, and the man in question is killable.
Well, the Old Gods' vassal got most of the predictions correct. All except Alexstrasza. She'd never betray anyone.
If we put all hints together including datamined stuff, old il'gynoth whisper and all... she will play at their side willingly or not, we just don't know what will be her downfall since each aspect ended in a diferent way
this title is just click bait...
I agree.
Blizzard sucks so hard at writing proper lore these days and the “oh we did this huge questline with no outcome BUT wait a sec, Alexstraza is gonna say something fucking stupid like “no matter, we’ll do it together… FRIENDSHIP” 🤦🏼🤮
???
"positive vibes only" :)
Is that paladin voiced by Gary Anthony Williams?
is Keep Tyr same voice actor for Mephisto from Diablo 4?
Nice!
Ok why did i get no cutscene when i did this part
Just flexing a lore nitpick, anyone else notice they used the zone version of Tirisfal with dead trees i.e after it was corrupted by the scourge? Obviously not worth remaking the zone but if they are re-doing Lordaeron in a new expansion maybe they could have shown Tirisfal as it was pre Scourge?
what the did they bugget cut the Cutscenes
Did that demon really go “OOF, GUUAAAAARH!!!” as he got defeated?
Yes.
So Blizzard have just given up then?
The corruptions of both Kalecgos and Alexstraza werent laid out as to what did it but I surmise it'll be something like the final boss of FF14 endwalker
It showed the corruption of Malygos not Kalecgos
I refuse to let Alexstrasza get corrupted

@@Horusx6 and they all came true that was b4 naltharion fell to madness with malygos

Imagine last raid pre final boss as fighting against the 5 corrupted aspects at once:
- Deathwing.
- Murozond.
- Emerald Nightmare Ysera.
- Malygos.
- Alextrasza.
Malygos was never corrupted. He was driven mad by grief. The loss of Sindragosa and most of his flight hit him hard.
@@qpeluso true, wouldnt be a stretch to think old gods could take advantatge of that Madness

Chu chu yeah
I get bored of the whole old god and Titan story lines.
Boo fucking hoo!
@@shoopuffluvin It’ll actually end like MoP.

You are correct, they chose to omit Kith'ix more than likely because the dev team tends to not actually do their research before making things lol

What special equipment does dragonflight and shadowlands offer? Legion offered the powerful artifact weapons and battle for Azeroth offered the trashy azerite armor.
in that regard nothing special really only thing is that level 70 gear starts to be upgradeable with an easy to farm ressource fcalled flightstones

I will keep following the goings of the story through you, just cause i spent so much of my life with this game that i need to know how it will eventually end
“Warcraft” was finished after the lich king died.. for most of us who grew up playing the old rts games. Cataclysm was the start of a new “game” imo so i find it laughable that people even cry about lore.. the real story has been over for years..your playing just a game now $$$
