This video was mainly about the installation process but with the quick rundown of details about the coilovers in bushings in the beginning. I'll have an article about how I felt about various combinations of suspension and tires to accompany a future video that'll also discuss these suspension bits.
The main issue I'm dealing with right now is time - constant manufacturer delays plus my own hectic schedule - is making my car's rebuild take much longer than expected. When the car is back together, I'll be discussing the suspension quite a bit.

Good work Rich. These bushes coming to market are certainly a welcome option for us longterm owners. I would really appreciate your comment on the end result. Particularly with focus on noise and vibration as well as ride and handling.

I'd love to see a road test. I'm curious as to the effect urathane has on response and ride..

First, thanks for another great video. Second, I want one of those jackets, Third, generally suspension components are torqued with the suspension under load. That was not mentioned.

I've gotten several requests for them so 'm working on the jackets, but most places have a "couple months" lead time.
As for the suspension loading, I talk about it starting at 4:24

Nice work Richard. Replacement of bushings or replacement of arms with new bushings from OEM is often a talking point on Aston forums. The one comment that keeps being made is whether nylon bushes increase road noise, so I would be interested in your thoughts.
I had my suspension replaced recently with Vantage Engineering race derived suspension but using OEM springs. Makes a big difference to handling.

Hi Rich, how are the BC coilovers for ride comfort and handling?

I loved how I had them set up on my red V8 Vantage. They were more comfortable than stock, and far more comfortable *and usable* than the stock struts and H&R springs that were on my grey V8 Vantage at the same time. I'll be setting them up more aggressively now that I have them on my grey V8V but it'll still be balanced so the car is comfortable enough as a daily driver.

What made you want to replace the bushings (other than making awesome content) given that they were in ok condition? I have a 07 Vantage and the caster alignment on my front driver side wheel maxes out -0.6 degrees from the specification and I was thinking it might need bushings but I only have 43k miles…

The bushings in these cars are actually really robust. I wasn't surprised that they were in good condition, but I was surprised that they were in good condition given how much I've put them through (if that makes sense).
As for why I replaced them, it was a combination of things:
      - I try to test everything I can for the sake of the community, and bushings have been a missing product for our cars, so being able to offer them is going to help people that prefer getting poly bushings over new factory control arms.
      - I don't like selling things I can't give first-hand (or credible second-hand) perspective about, so being able to "put my money where my mouth is" is important for me as a business owner as much as it is being an enthusiast - I quit my career to just run Redpants, so I do need to make a living, and I'm still passionate about it despite it being my job now.
      - I've found poly bushings to be great improvements on other cars and hope to get the same results on this one. I'm keeping this car for the foreseeable forever, and it's going to continue evolving, so this is one part of that development and evolution.
As for your car, bushings shouldn't change your alignment. If one side is completely different than the other, I'd do some diagnostics to see what's going on to cause that difference. If you're looking for more camber, I'd recommend a chat with Ali at Valiant-Ecosse. He's got some tricks up his sleeve.

There’s a problem with these. The thread collar will bottom out in the housing on the front at Least very close to stock ride height

The design wouldn't allow that, and there hasn't been a single report of that happening in the 6+ years these have been on the market.

Use a factory ball joint splitter there’re much better and so much more professional
