I must say with every episode of botched. I always reminded that these doctors have an impressively high level of tolerance and discipline.
They always like "Just one more surgery" but it is never just one more. They are never satisfied.

They receive the STRANGEST of Patient's, but manage to treat all of them with respect.
It’s really ironic to me that the lady with the giant implants is trying to imitate Amethyst... when Amethyst’s whole arc is about accepting herself and her body without comparing herself to anyone else. :(

Wow. My jaw was numb for a couple of months following my wisdom teeth removal. My doc warned me that because of the placement of the nerves in my jaw, there was the possibility of permanent nerve damage. The lack of sensation about drove me crazy and the day I started to get feeling back was glorious. I can’t imagine living like the last woman and losing motor function and feeling in my face for the sake of vanity.

Teddy Time You’re not dumb. There are plenty of doctors that don’t follow the Hippocratic Oath like they are supposed to, and there are instances of such doctors having botched the surgeries of the patients who appear on this show in the first place. These surgeries can net a lot of money, so some doctors will pursue their greed instead of keeping the patient’s best interests in mind.
This is not emergency medicine, I respect that they will be fully honest and decline work but explain WHY to their clients. That is key so they can be aware of the risks and not instantly run to some shady doc to get it done.

As a woman who has had breast implants (& still has them today, obviously) & has also had a tummy tuck, I think these videos about “plastic surgery & botched surgery correction” HAVE TO INCLUDE WHERE they got the MONEY from to have these procedures in the FIRST place!!!
For myself, the anesthesia itself was about half the cost at 7k, & the rest cost a total of 15k. I took out a personal loan & made payments of $350 for about 3 years. THIS IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EVER DONE for myself!!!! I would do it again in a heartbeat!!Seriously, I cannot explain how much better I feel about myself, especially after having 2 kids & breastfeeding both. (The WORST thing that has ever happened to me physically!! Like seriously, remember those National Geographic magazines that show all the naked people? I saw that & felt like that ALL the time!!)🙂
