is it ok to draw the arrow to right next to the carbon? (like in between the bond and the C) This is the way that was taught in school

to summarise, basically when drawing out displayed structure, make sure the carbon has the bond going to the ACTUAL element its bonded to, so the H bonded to the C in COOH not the H🤣
