Nice run. Glad you don't seem to be running out of fuel flow at wide open throttle. Thanks for sharing. :-) Yeah. The 16t sprocket spreads out your shift intervals. Good job.
Great video. I have been thinking about getting this bike for around town but the only thing is that I ride with my wife a lot. Have you tried this bike with a passenger?
No, I haven't tried riding with a passenger. I think the bike can handle it. The only thing to look out for is the seat shape. It swoops up at the back, leaving not a ton of room for a passenger. I know a couple of people have removed the seat cover, shaved down the swoop, and recovered the seat as a flat bench seat, all for little money and minimal effort. That could be a good option for you. Good luck, it's a great town bike!
@avoidhighways250 yea, that's what I worry about. It seems capable enough, but the seat shape throws me off. Shaving that lip off is a good alternative I'll look into it.
I'm working to find out a solution, too. I contacted CSC about it, and they confirmed that they don't carry them anymore. But they referred me to a website (www.12oclocklabs.com) that sells a speedo calibrator. 12 O'Clock Labs shows a calibrator model compatible with up to 2023 SG250s, BUT they don't have it listed as an option to buy. They sell a universal one that might work. I have a message out to them and will update if I hear from them.
I confirmed with CSC that they no longer carry the speedo calibrator. However, they referred me to www.12oclocklabs.com, which does sell one called the SpeedoDRD. If you order from them, order the model C1, but in the order notes tell them you have a CSC SG250 and need the model C2 SpeedoDRD. (That's an instruction from 12 O'Clock Labs themselves).
Nice run.

Great review! Excellent video! Thank you for your feedback.
Thanks! As you can tell, I’m a big fan of CSC!
Comparing the SG-250 with the Kawasaki W230 could be worthwhile.
Features, seat height, value, build quality, ergonomics and etc. :-)
Would love to get my hands on the Kawi for a test ride. May have to start looking around!

wish something could be done about the speedo, doesn’t look like they carry the calibrator anymore
