- From WG, I moved to my own space here in Germany last Apr 2023. Back in 2020 when I decided to pursue my nursing career, I didn't think I would be getting my own space until I passed their recognition exam as a nurse. Then I started dreaming to have my own space, to decorate my own place, to call a space my home. Nevertheless it wasn't easy. Working as a Filipino Nurse in Germany, without your family nearby means you have to do everything yourself from waiting for your deliveries, building your cabinets, those emergency expenses that you anticipate. I am very happy with all the help I got from my friends too if they have time. And so bit by bit, I was able to decorate it just how I imagined it the day I did Besichtigung in my own place.
I'd be sharing some tips and challenges for someone working abroad. It had been a dream come true I would say. It's easy to feel that you're a foreigner when working abroad. Having your own space give you that kind of feeling nonetheless that you're home.
