Just gonna upload really old transcriptions that don't have a Synthesia yet from now on, and cap off 6 years of transcription content with the first piece I ever transcribed for solo piano.

It was hard for me to play even the simplified version... so i'm just gonna look this amazed and all that
I have actually managed to play the simplified version, and I am only playing for just over a year now. I hope I can upgrade to the "normal" version some point in the future ^^
One thing to realise is that you don't actually have to play it at 150 BPM. Start slow, I practiced at 70-80 most of the time and then used Metronome ramp-up for difficult sections up to 140. In the end I usually play it at about 120, it is quite fast already and playing it faster does not make a substantial difference.
Xerus I might be very very dumb... but I kinda think the simplified version is harder than the normal version... might be because I learned the normal one first and had a hard time adapting, but who knows..
@@ChoppedCilantro I think that's pretty normal, it's most likely due to muscle memory. I learn mostly from synthesia midis and am not well versed in sheet music so I have to rely on both types of memory to play. Whenever I finish learning a hard or fast piece it becomes difficult to play a "simpler" version of the song, heck even playing properly with just one hand becomes challenging because my muscle memory becomes so used to playing exactly how I learned it due to how many times I've played it for practice.

I just finished learning the first arrangement. It took me 3 weeks to get the master level “performance ready”... I’m not sure some of this is humanly possible at this tempo. Are your challenger arrangements intentionally made that way?
They're supposed to be "technically playable" (so pretty much anything goes as long as there's nothing like over 10th stretches or 3 hands at once kinda stuff). I guess you can kind of think of it like a TAS but with the caveat that I think top players could play it

Oh dear, this piece is inhuman.
The thin line you use to show where you are is extremely hard to see. Not sure if you use editing or a program to do it, but if you can, a thicker line would be nice. When I use your channel I often use my phone and cannot spot the 1 pixel wide line which sometimes gets blurred out of existence by compression even at 720p.
Side not: you got godly ears to be able to transcribe something like this
I just screen record a playback of Sibelius so unfortunately there's not much I can do about it, sorry. At the start of the channel I considered putting the sheet music at the top (where Synthesia natively puts it if you enable sheet music) but Sibelius doesn't scroll smoothly so it would be a jarring transition every few bars when it had to scroll
@@winged_souls Thanks for considering it at least. It's not a huge deal if you don't anyway, it'd just be convenient.
