Last one definitely a myth your pull-ups won't go up if you do just muscle-ups like almost all calisthenics movements if you don't practice the movement it gets worst over time.
Would you say muscle-ups are enough stimulus to _maintain_ pull-up strength? I don't imagine someone who's doing 15-20 pullups when they unlock the muscle-up is going to get worse at pullups by working on muscle-ups specifically
@ strength is still there but endurance wise nope I personally was a guy who could do 20+ plus pull-ups consistently became obsessed with muscle-ups could hit over 10+ kip reps after some time but I would go try to hit that 20 or more and couldn’t would die around 16-18 reps
I disagree with the resistant band for muscle-up. Jumping muscle-up will not help for the technique at all! Instead - get strong elastic band and experiment until you catch the technique. Another myth : "High level athlete is best to teach you a skill" Why: They cannot help you much as they haven't been in the learner situation for very long time. Better ask 10 people who just got it and try to find your own way.

@ it’s was only when I refocused on pull-ups consistently did my endurance on pullups comeback.
