@@BiblioChic look up tudorlinks they have a free 3/5/7 gored walking skirt pattern i used .... had to add a bunch to the back, but it came out pretty cute
if you want a (historically incorrect) summer corset option, orchard corset does mesh corsets. since I wrinkle things horribly with my slouching if I don't have something reminding me to straighten up I do appreciate them. you have great fabric and beautiful plans!
If you’re on FB, join the Outlander Replica Clothing group. They do orders when I start a re-weave. They ship international, so you should be good there. If they’re not currently doing orders, you might be able to find some de-stashing.
I know I'm probably missing something here but I don't understand why being at home automatically means wearing sweat pants (???) and tops. Speaking as someone who used to run a smallholding and had a baby, yet did it all wearing saris (I enjoyed wearing them, still would but I feel the cold more now and I weigh more now) and who now wears history bounding versions of 12thC clothing with the odd dash of Edwardian walking skirts/blouses if I'm feeling really dressy. I can honestly say I can't think of anything more uncomfortable - nor more likely to make you feel a frump - than wearing gym clothing (because I assume your sweat pants are our tracksuit bottoms over here) all day and every day. Even if you did work at a gym/athletic coaching group. Interesting video and I enjoyed your one where you made an outlander (I assume this is a TV show, I haven't seen it) skirt. Very nice indeed.
Wearing sweats around the house is definitely a mindset that I’m trying to over come. I need to inspire and push myself to not always reach for them. To me, they are super comfortable, so it’s hard not to go straight for them.
Sweats are used as a neo-pajama in the US... so basically what happens is they never get "dressed" at all. I grew up there and still do not understand it, because much like the act of making breakfazt, getting dressed helps you actually get started. They do not realize they are uncomfortable, because they are just in this constant state.
Summer is so hard for me to make and edit video with the kids home. I’ve taught myself to knit and will be back to uploading my projects when school starts back up. Thanks for asking!!!

Thank you! I do. It was hard to film and do projects with my kids gone this summer, but I have 3 projected film and waiting for me to edit them.
