Most of the photos on this video were taken by me, Harry Pinsker, b/t 1958-62. In the late 1970's I gave Steve Zabel over 300 of my negatives, which he processed into B & W slides. The deal was that he made 3 of each for me at no charge, and he could sell as many copies as he wished, which were stamped "SOLD BY Steve Zabel." But he was not the photographer.
At :27 was the Franklin Shuttle with the Union St. overpass. Mom used to leave me there to wave to the drivers when I was a toddler. She'd be arrested for child abuse in this day and age. Next shot was the defunct culver shuttle. Both pics were of where I lived over 60 years ago, thanks.
Neglect is not abuse. Why not Carroll St? Peds only, shady and its by a police station house? I was there last week and a nice older lady, Lulamae, struck up a conversation with me as we waited for trains to pass.

The T train existed in the late 50s.when did the T train retire its going to come back with the second ave subway in 2022 I believe.
Update for sas because the mta doesn’t have enough money for sas phase 2 it’s delayed for opening to 2030,phase 3 in 2038,phase 4 in 2047.
