nar cruz Carpet is not practical in a dusty, dirty & polluted country like the Philippines. Besides carpet are very high maintenance material. Bright color ceramic tiles are ideal here
The floor looks like an ordinary cemented floor and then cleaned with floor wax. A light colored floor is always better than a red floor. If I have to guess, they chose the red colored tiles to hide the fact that some sections of the airport do not have tiles on the floor to save money. The money meant for the tiles went to the politicians pocket.

Anita Kania There is a public aircon bus just outside (to your right) when you exit that charge only P50 from airport to Island City Mall (ICM). Taxi here are colorum/unlicensed & they charge P500 to ICM
Do they have enough running water yet so that they can adequately clean their restrooms? I saw some pictures of the restrooms a few weeks ago and they looked terrible.

Warren Smith the restrooms look clean and they do have running water.

Well, good the airport is clean and spacious. The toilets are clean and the waiting area has a good view of the planes arriving and departing.
