I have always dreamed of a rat rod but live in a tennis shoe budget. My wife saw me watching this and heard raffle car she told me to enter when available she is in love with this car.

The pin-striping on the roof was just the bit of magic sauce to bring the look of the lace on the roof to perfection. That is really cool. And the 2 bits on the rear corners were the bits of trim to tie it all together. Very nice.

I know the Chevrolet had the two piece windshield. Had you considered the one piece windshield for the Oldsmobile that will fit the same opening as the Chevy? I love the Orange striping it ties in so well. Great work. The two different sides of the dash is very cool.

Weld a go pro attachment to your creeper with a flex arm and on your ceiling above you car where you do Footage attach a adjustable custom arm bar so when your working on these amazing car.
I actually hand something like that setup but my head was just in the way the whole time lol. I tried to move it at the other end and you couldn’t see anything i was doing, just had a shot of me basically and not the work

Hey Casey I’ve got a question about the poppy’s clear. My son and I are working on an 84 k10 4x4 and the original paint is patinated really well. I’m thinking of using poppy’s to clear over the truck. My question is do you think this clear would hold up to snow and mud well?
Yep. It has handled weather very well when i used it. The 52 Pontiac i cleared sat outside off months and held up great. I did do 2 coats on it though. 👍👍
Hey instead of carpet for interior doors. Look at PVC panels. I believe they make them in grey. You know that plastic you see on the walls of restaurants.
I'm curious how that car would be titled. Is it a blazer or a 51 chevy? And when you get pulled over and they see it registered as a blazer, how do you prove it is?
Always register as the older body on top. Not only would it be weird to have this titled as a blazer, it would be illegal in certain states. I’ve done 50 of these chassis swaps and never once titled it as the newer donor chassis.

Yep the 1 piece was my plan originally, but unfortunately it was 200+ extra dollars over the 2 piece and i didn’t have room in this budget

So all the roof paint and body work was zero cost on materials?
