More than 30 years later and this still sounds totally great - I remember those days, stiff and narrow minded - it's worse today, so Bolan is still ahead of the times.
Kocham tą piosenkę, gdy ją słyszę to chce mi się żyć. Genialny artysta Marc Bolan, legenda muzyki rockowej. Dziękujemy za fantastyczną muzykę, do słuchania na zawsze.
Loved Marc Bolan like Bowie he was ahead of his time. His music still sounds as fresh and vibrant today as it did in the 70s, likewise for Bowie and Roxy Music too.
ah..........back to the good times with an amazing artist. Heard this recently when watching, of all things, the TV drama Britannia. That prompted me to search it out, glad I did.
I always took this song as being ironic, and therefore an extremely accurate and cutting remark on the legacy of the era... given what the baby-boomers became. Makes me love it even more :)
I liked your comments apparently years ago. I read it today, didn't recognize my own like, so I was confused and in the end I liked it again. Me being a a bit clumsy I bet it will happen again in a few years xD
Thanks for posting this awesome video. At 51 I feel that I grew up in a great musical era & it's great to see Marc Bolan living on to entertain a whole new generation.
Had he lived past 1977, I think he would have flirted with synthesizer music, cut his hair and embraced the MTV, much like most of the rock stars from 60s and 70s who continued playing in the 80s. The fact that he openly supported and admired Punk Rock as soon as it appeared in '75-'76 testifies to his inclination to adopting new trends.
+miljenko1 What's wrong with supporting and admiring new trends if you like them? Punk in its originality was very rebelling. Synthesizer and MTV are not.
+Kjetil Nyjordet I didn't mean anything bad about it. Had he lived, I'm sure we would have heard great Bolan music in the '80s and '90s. And it would have evolved and grown, I'm sure, by adopting synthesizers and everything else that was on the table.
I am 59 now (yes time flies) was 18 when I heard this Great artist me and my friends chatting to Miss Ma Unwanna listening to T Rex Crosby Stills Nash and Young David Bowie etc etc Hmm those were the times
Marc Bolan musical genius, charismatic just way ahead of his time if only we had music like this today.
The elite won’t allow music like this. Because people like myself know exactly what Marc is singing about here..

Marc really was so so special.
“I got a Rolls Royce because it’s good for my voice” brilliant 🤩

50 years and we are still paying attention, some of us
no he wasn't, he is the absolute embodiment of his time
More than 30 years later and this still sounds totally great - I remember those days, stiff and narrow minded - it's worse today, so Bolan is still ahead of the times.

Mark Bolan's message to ppl in power...still relevant nearly 50yrs later!
Paul Yeah this aged well, lol!
Yeah, but doesn't that mean that the children of the revolution actually got fooled...?
@@solinvictus2018 Every generation is a child of their own revolution. This will always inspire power. But, yeah, I know what you mean. Peace and love
How could I interpret this song?
ah..........back to the good times with an amazing artist.

Marc was one of my first obsessions as a young teen in the early 70’s! Him and Bowie…I had all their record!
Me, born in 1957... For me, T. Rex was the best glam rock group of my time. Slade, The Sweet, couldn't keep up.
