There is nothing left before the start of my long-awaited vacation, and I am full of joy and excitement! As a needlewoman I am always looking for new projects to keep myself busy and this time I decided to make a beach shopper for my seaside vacation.
I have a colorful fabric with bright stripes that creates a beachy mood, I spotted it in the store a long time ago and specifically chose it for this idea. I want my beach shopper to be bright, stylish and roomy enough to fit everything you need for a great day at the beach.
So let's start sewing!
I cut the fabric into a long rectangle measuring 100 x 50 cm and two strips measuring 10x50 cm, fold the sections inward.
I take a sling a little smaller than the strips and put it inside and stitch it.
Got two pens for my shopper. I measure 18 cm from the edge and put the handles inside and stitch.
I fold my arms up.
I cross stitch securely.
I sew the side seams with a closed linen seam.
I fold the corners in.
I'm stitching.
I grab the corners manually to the allowances.
I smooth the folds on the sides and make lines of 1 mm.
My beach shopper is ready!
It looks incredibly bright and inviting and I can't wait to use it on my vacation!
It fits all the necessary things: a beach towel, sunscreen, glasses, a bottle of water and even a light snack.
