Chained God mini campaign was fun, but definitely too difficult. It took me way too many tries to beat it on Very Hard. Controlling only one or two units makes the action economy really imbalanced against you, even if the units you are controlling are super powerful. It's fun and cool, but I would recommend playing on a lower difficulty.
Seems more interesting than the chained god, did not finish that one, or should I ? But definitely going to try this.
