Thanks Toby. Great video. For the 1st time since the opening night I feel confident this $110 million speedway will NOT be a white elephant and with the support of drivers and crews, fans and people like yourself I'm sure Marty Perovich and Garry Wilmington will be rewarded with great racing seasons moving forward. Thanks again 👏 ✌️
Thanks for all the fantastic work you have done you have played a huge role in the progress of this operation give yourself a pat on the back mate cheers.
Great report, as usual, Toby! Sounds like the track re-profiling and re-shaping is moving in a good direction. The dirt track community (fans as well as racers) needs to know what is happening. Thanks Mate!
Thanks for the update, like you said there's not a lot of info around to be had by the fans. Let's hope this time it sticks and we are able to go forward and look at a full season next year.
Great video and good to hear that the track is finally getting into shape. The ball now seems to be in the court of the promoters and I fully agree that communication is the key. Build it and they will come. Cheers onwards and upwards.
After seeing my "local" speedway in Brooklyn, Victoria disappear, your videos have been of interest. Hopefully it all gets better and racing and fans feel at home at Eastern Creek.
great video video toby can't wait to be back there watching some sprint car action. I also bought your naughty t shirt at fan appreciation day at Warrnambool. I love it so much.
That was a good report. Stick to doing this. I'm actually surprised they let you in to do this. The previous promoter wouldn't if you'd spoken about him the way you did about the current promotors. Gary Wilmington is above that and that's probably a part why most felt welcomed. Yes, they could use better communication and promotion. It has been a difficult time and they'll get there. They have the resources.
That is great to get this back . I'm am from Adelaide Have u heard everything about speed way city. I think this track was better for the fans. Then Murray Bridge
hey Toby, next time you're there, could you have a look in the Stewards Box in turn two for a green Rivers backpack that I left there at the last meeting before the track closed? It did have some important stuff in it....
Good report glad to hear drivers pleased with improvements I don't understand name change this will confuse the punters The willmington crew must be supported and not left out like a shags on a rock as the difficulties appear Hope the banking gets fully sorted soon and make it the best facility in the country Let's hope a fan alley is developed to supply merch and services to the fan
I actually found the fb page by pure accident one day which goes to show how little their doing to promote at this stage. Thankfully it looks like its going the right way.
big change that needs to happen is pit size and design I know that there is a public road that is right next to it but race cars will have nowhere to park and the pits are already way to small to have like 2 classes while they could be having 3/4 classes a night not to mention about bringing WSS back or Australian sprint car title at this speedway. 1. bigger pits 2. get monster trucks and Derbys at this track 3. like night thunder NEEDS TO BE ON TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry to say it but there's guna no passing the only passing on that track mite be the starts .but I'd ur going to build a track ruapuna speedway copy that track and it's a good track
The real test will be in attracting major events international or local. Hope it don't end up a white elephant like Eastern Creek Raceway which was a rush job to get the 500cc bikes here only to have them go to Phillip Island which every one raves about. Finally they have to make it " affordable both for entry and food/drinks ect so people will go. And no Paid parking as if there is k think it would turn people off going.
Great work Toby. Serious abuse of Hardworking Australian Taxpayers funds here, and much pain caused to the Speedway community. Pathetic by the Govt, absolutely pathetic. $110M and the facility has barely any parking & getting in & out is a disaster. Why is the seating so close to the track? Who approved the build of this donkey circuit? Feel for the Speedway community. Ffs!! The opportunity was there to take the learning from other circuits and for $110M to be utilised to build something exciting, exciting for fans and teams. Ffs!!

Great work as always Toby I wouldn't know bugger all about Sydney International Speedway if it weren't for Sprintcar Hub
It feels that way…
Fingers crossed they improve in that area but overall it was a good night.
Thanks for the support as always!

Communication is always the key.
Doin a great job Toby your the voice for the speedway fans 💪🏁
Thanks for getting this video out so quickly 👌
It's a lot quicker when you don't have to travel so far!
Thanks for watching and supporting what we do.

Great job, Toby. That's great news that something is finally happening there.

thanks, just hope for the sport it gets going ... we need it Badly !!!
Me too! We need it to be pumping. So much of the speedway landscape feeds off of tracks like Sydney.
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!

Thanks Toby!!! God Bless
Well done cobra. Doing and excellent job relaying info on wat the he’ll is going on with the speedway.
Thank God it's getting sorted. Can't wait to visit and seeing some racing.
Great work, Toby
Thank you!

excellent Toby, where would we be without your communication

I still said what I thought about the previous promoter and was never denied entry.
Thanks for watching.

Any updates on when the next actual race might be. Itching for some actual racing there

I’d love to see some modifieds and late models tearing that track up
When do we expect racing to start back at Eastern Creek speedway
nice work .

is speedway city ever going to open again
Sounds great, its a start. Once we hear from promotor and their plans it might just be a success?
they're running karts here now?

Hard to have derbies now with cost of cars and public liabilities, monster trucks are hopeless in Australia ( unless they are US ones)

a bunkrupt is now running the joint..
Trumps been bankrupt twice and he'll be running the world 🤷♂️

toby and sprintcar hub when can we come back to the venue
The track has said that they plan to host racing events in March.
-Toby
@@SprintCarHub do you know what day or dates in march toby
Well reported toby.
Good God.. that's not the biggest pits I have seen.. and hand scraping the wall is a joke
Hand-scraping walls is a common thing in speedway
😂😂😂😂 Sydney is a joke
How the hell did that cost $110 million when en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MotoArena_Torun cost $37 million AUD?
