I regret that I only have one thumbs up to give! I love, love, LOVE content that shows some of the logistics of keeping these racers racing while they're on the road. Thanks for sharing this video!

Fun fact: When I was doing an internship at Robert Yates Engines, my friend and fellow 305 racer gave me a tour of the KKR shop and trailer and they had stacks of quarters for car washes! It's mind boggling how much thought and money goes into those trailers!

Some serious coin involved with a setup like that. Bloody interesting non the less.

Tires do take up a lot of width room. So much, unless you have a 2-story trailer, you can't get a spare car out. Only a spare frame. Cale Conley's trailer is the only single-story 5th wheel trailer, I've seen, that can carry a car, full sized mule, and a complete spare car with front axle and rear end. Because the 5th wheel kick-up has been extended back. No tire racks. All the wheels and tires are stored on the floor. Below the complete spare car. Along with a 110-gallon methanol fuel tank. Team only needs 5 fuel jugs, instead of 15 or 20. Cales trailer proves you don't need a 53 ft 2-story semi-trailer. th-cam.com/video/hD78o_YIW0M/w-d-xo.html
