  • This was some footage taken over a couple of days when West Coast Railways Class 37 locomotives nicknamed growlers by the sound they make appeared at the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway to make up coaching stock in preparation for one of their forthcoming SRPS railtours to AVIEMORE for the Strathspey Diesel Gala Saturday 19 March 2022 With pick up points from LINLITHGOW, Edinburgh Waverley, Dalgety Bay, Kirkcaldy, Perth
Over the Forth Bridge and through Fife to Perth, then along the Highland Line through Dunkeld, Pitlochry, Blair Atholl and over Drumochter Summit, the highest point on the British railway network. At Aviemore passengers may additionally choose the Strathspey Railway Diesel Gala (£10) or a coach trip to visit a distillery (£29).

Particularly good exhaust soumds from the 37 there. Some complicated shuffling about of carriages, it seems, though
