Love to see these cars get the power and upgrades to match their great styling. Basically the way they should have been when new. I've owned several of these cars . No better view then from behind a shaker hood lumping at the stop light.
@CrankAddict those are actually just "standard interior" door panels. the cross hatching in the grills would indicate that it is a 1978. The 1977 door panels had big plastic pockets and pull straps seats look like horse collar seats though for a 1977. Jesse good on you for making the Shaker a shaker and not a faker. We actually trimmed and bonded the engine cover from the L59 5.3 into the underside of our shaker so it attaches the same way as the factory one.
I agree about the shaker, gotta keep it but also gotta keep a dual side out tips behind each rear tire, just not the same without both the shaker & tips
Well at least they keep the stock trans am hood scoop. Better than putting cowl hood on any second gen Camaro or firebird. I’m one of those anti LS kinda people so yeah the shaker should be in the engine. And a nice Pontiac 455 under the hood. But all I have is 74 Camaro’s anyway.
This car looks really good. A little too low for me but the wheels fit right. So many cars are too low. And it’s Texas and it’s nice to drive things. So QA1 control arms and coil overs. Are their arms shorter or narrower. You kept the stock spindles. And just upgraded rotors and calipers. So with a wheel and tore combo with the same backspace someone could duplicate this. I run stock control arms on a 74 Camaro, Global west controls arm bushings, Global west subframe bushings, bolt on subframe connectors. They are greaseable dellalum lined solid bushings. There were out years before Detroit speed made this type of bushing.
Yeah you could park that at Walmart and no one would dare hit it. This late model stuff dents if you look at it wrong. Good solid American steel. Who needs pretty. Nothing wrong with polish and shine. But freiburger has a shirt that says, “don’t get it right, just get it running”. Can’t really complain about it not being pretty cause it’s all about function.

Love it! Not every car needs to be shiny and a garage queen!
Truth! This cars a blast
looks and sounds great, definitely something that you can drive and enjoy without worrying about it.
Absolutely! Plus it does nasty burnouts 😈
Those 2nd gen F bodies are some of the best looking cars ever made.
It’s all I build!
As a huge fan of this guy's dual turbo '79, I am so glad this popped up in my recommended videos!
Thank you so much

That’s right! F bodies are my favorite to build
Almost exactly how Im trying to build my car. Great job!
Thank you!
I gave you a thumbs up for knowing the difference between '77 and '78 door panels.
That T/A looks to be the prime suspect in the next bank robbery.
I know a lot about these cars 👍 thanks for the support
@@JessiesPerformance I know a bit, too.

👍 they were actually 77 panels and we put 78 panels on there. As well as the 78 grill.
Bad ass, I would definitely get it painted, and interior may be vinyl or leather seats and that’s it. It’s gorgeous.
Customer plans to do paint down the road
Awesome car! Great jobs guys
Thank you!
Great looking & sounding car......it has a sinister look ....💪✌️
It’s got a great balance of ratty + modern
I agree about the shaker, gotta keep it but also gotta keep a dual side out tips behind each rear tire, just not the same without both the shaker & tips
We dumped the exhaust before the axle
YES! Shakers gotta shake, brother! 💪
🫨
Very cool car a great driver/sleeper you dont have to worry about!
Runs so good!
What ESR wheels? 18 x 10.5 wide, what backspace are those wheels.
Custom back space
I am with you the shaker has to be attached to the motor not the hood.
It’s a must

can you share the wheel specs please?
looking to go wider on my TA
18x12 ESR backspace is custom to the build
I agree about the shaker it eats at me when I see that
It’s a killer
Does it have a mini tub?
No

It’s important to find a wheel and tire combo that fits your build. They’re all different
mind sharing the build cost and labor cost?

Customer will eventually do a paint job. We did what fit in his budget and was most important to him
Anotha one
🦅
what's the spec's on the canshaft?
Our custom grind! We sell them if you’re interested. It’s a great cam for NA and boost!
I love Trans Am's But I would add one more thing. Where are the TA tips?
We dumped the exhaust at the axle
Its okay to hide the kind of ugly looking LS with the shaker, but my TPI swap with polished plenum and SLP runners, urm.....🙄😬..
Our swaps are far from ugly.
that stupid hat...lmao.....going foWARD.................
Ok they are for sale on our site $35 we ship worldwide. 👍
