I’m getting ready to buy my second Buddy. Outstanding in all areas and worth the extra money. As far as the two post lift question.... I can’t park my pickup under a two post lift like I can with my 7k overheight lift.
I have many years experience working w/lifts and I do not even need to see that it can lift a truck / car firmly & safely...The man & I know what is Superior Craftsmanship...MADE IN THE U.S. of A. !!!
They don't want you to know they are 3 times the price of every other lift on the market. They are 7 grand or more. You can buy a 9k pound 2 post lift off eBay for $1300.
What kind of safeties are there in the event of a failure on the deck that would cause it to fall...does the deck have some kind of emergency breaking system.
Spend lots of time talking down all of the other manufacturers lifts and no price list on their website. Must be twice the cost of others. This guy also did a add for a engine run stand commercial, but it was way over price too...I lost interested in Back Yard Buddy lifts. I'll just buy another American made lift...
@Daver G I've had one for 10 years. Never had a problem with it except it smelled like hell when I first got it. Like every other Chinese tool ive ever owned.
With tax and delivery they are over $7k. Look it up. I'd rather have a Chinese product that does the same work that I can afford than one I have to go in debt for just because it's made here.
What idiot thought this was the commercial for their lift?! No pricing, no demonstration of LIFTING A CAR??? Me thinks they need a new advertising company. Makes it look a little disingenuous.
What a terrible video. The information by this guy was lacking because he was paid to make this vid .would like to see a more complete user demo using a vehicle to see first hand how this lift works .so for that reason I'm out .

I would not walk under a non-ALI Certified lift.
Who makes the bridge jack shown at 3:32 in this video - and is it a rolling jack?
That is a very well made lift!
That's why it's not ALI Certified.
Do you sell Canadian and where can I pick it up
I was hoping to see a couple of different cars driving on to it and raise them up!
I believe they call it a Demo!
Lol. Nice lift though!

LOL, no thanks! I will not even approach a non-ALI Certified lift!
Why can't I find any pricing on this thing anywhere?

@Daver G I bought one 10 years ago it has been fantastic. No problems but the smell but that went away after a few months.
Can you send one to south africa jhb 4 post lift. This is the best one
Ever cross anyone's mind to demonstrate this lift by actually driving a vehicle up on it?
I guess not!
Dude, they can't tell you how much it costs, that's a secret. You just have to trust them and order one.
What kind of safeties are there in the event of a failure on the deck that would cause it to fall...does the deck have some kind of emergency breaking system.
Hell Yes
None, no cable-slack safeties! No ALI certification! Not suitable!
Advantage car lifts! Awesome.
Price and how high ceilings do you need
4k to 8k? Thats why the sale pitch trashing the competition for similar product.
Finding a price on this equipment is worse than pulling teeth
How much?

price of 7000 lb lift?
Go to a big car show near you and they will have one on display
Over $7000. $1 a pound. You can buy a 2 post 9000lb. Lift on eBay for $1300.
@Daver G I've had one for 10 years. Never had a problem with it except it smelled like hell when I first got it. Like every other Chinese tool ive ever owned.
They are around $7,000. Why would you pay that when you can buy a safe reliable 2 post lift that takes up less room for less than $1500?
With tax and delivery they are over $7k. Look it up. I'd rather have a Chinese product that does the same work that I can afford than one I have to go in debt for just because it's made here.
This 7k lift costs more than a BendPak HDS-14X 14k lift! And the BendPak lift is ALI Certified!
