The first time I came across this Podcast was when you had ShxtsandGigz on the video came up. This one popped up yesterday and I decided to watch it and honestly, you ladies kept me entertainedddddddd. Both of you have such great energy and I really felt that the two of you clicked and are such girly girls, I love to see it, just two girls vibing and just getting along. You both seem like very down-to-earth individuals as well. Not sure how well you knew each other before this episode but honestly If I didn't know otherwise I would have thought the two of you go way back and have a long history of being friends. Thank you Mariam for the book suggestions, I've saved the names of them so I can get around to reading them once I finish the several books I am yet to finish lol. I love the concept of people have different personality traits that make them a specific colour. Also, I'm definitely the type of person to read that book and think to myself "Damn I really don't listen" 😂😅

Really really enjoyed this pod, as I do them all!! However as a white woman it was really insightful listening to 2 women of colour talking about love island and lack of representation/ western standards in such a candid way. I learnt a lot from this pod and thank you for being so open - big love ❤
Just a follow up: a really good read for other white people is ‘why I’m no longer talking to white people about race’ it explains the context behind how the little comments that were made to ash are so offensive and racist - its an easy read and tbf should be on the curriculum there’s no excuse for us to not educate ourselves !

Hi Ash, I think someone who is not able to take the time to see what you’re really really about is not interested in the long game anyway .being outside has no correlation with whether any man will want to settle with you or not. He’s either ready to settle down or he’s not. It’s all about timing, maturity and God’s favor and plan for your life.
