I always chew gum becuase of biting habits, thus having something in my mouth to chew is better than chomping into my hand or something else that I have within reach. The flavour doesn't matter to me, and with mint gum I prefer it to lose flavour quicker, so as to not ruin the taste of anything else that I put in my mouth. Extra gum is terrible, since it loses cohesion too quickly, I can't keep chewing if it falls apart, so I have to spit it out. Mentos gum is pretty good at keeping together, & so is Double Bubble, (although, that's not sugarfree. I prefer sugarfree gum, to not get my teeth all covered in sugar).
