By the time we got off It was starting to blizzard with fog. I ate it getting off the lift. Strapped in, goggles fogging up. Could barely see the tree-line. Tried to falling-leaf my way down. My wife eventually left to get ski patrol. I got within sight of the base before I gave up and let them carry me down in a sled. Years later I was taking near last-chair in Breck with a couple doing the same thing. Their first time up a lift by themselves after taking lessons. I tried to help them best I could but eventually ski patrol had to save them too. Nice to know I was not the only one, lol.
When we got therer I told my friend Lucas might be here today, was looking for your bright jacket the entire time, hopefully another time, You're the reason I'm skiing at all, saw your videos randomly last year and got addicted, keep up the great work, skiing changed my life for the better last year, hoping for an awesome season 2.

If you get the chance hike up Alta. That's what I've been doing instead of going to Solitude and it's some awesome preseason powder. Worth the hike in my opinion. Love the vids.
i was at solitude yesterday as well, couldn't ski a ton because the snow made us very wet but glad utah is finally getting its much needed snow, and it looks like it's gonna finally not melt 😂

Ok old school breakfast recommendation. Corn-beef hash with eggs. It’s one my go to breakfasts when I want a heavy meal to hold me through to lunch. You fry the corn-beef till it’s just about crispy and then crack an egg over it. Then cover with ketchup and Tabasco. You can buy individual serving cans.
A good parking move for parking during the regular season at Solitude & Brighton (remember Brighton is requiring a parking reservations) is to pick up some skiers at the parking lot waiting for the bus at the mouth of of the canyon. Just make sure they want to go where you are going. Then you show up with 4 people in the car and parking is free. And who knows... you may meet some new friends. Also, the bus system announced weeks ago that the buses will only be running every 30 minutes (not every 15) like last year due to a driver shortage. So the skiers waiting may appreciate even more the free ride up the canyon as the lines waiting for the bus are expected to be annoying. Just another reason why The Bird is the best mountain in Utah (free convenient parking).
You are correct... but Solitude is only requiring reservations on Fridays, the weekends, and peak holiday times. Brighton is requiring reservations every single day. It is crazy that at Brighton you will need a reservation to ski (with an Ikon pass) and a separate reservation to park. Welcome to the future. I forsee Ikon selling a separate and/or combined pass for skiing and parking in the future. @@DoonkZombie

I was there on Saturday too, thats wild. I had hit mammoth earlier in the week and we decided to leave there and head to park city to hit Solitude. Definitely not a proper ski day but we take what we can get, right? lol Can't expect much on a snow, low vis day in early season but if you just wanted to be on the on the skis it was worth it. Keep the content coming man I appreciate it. Hope this is your best season yet!

Observation: Part of your brand is your clothing. First purple, then the snow camo. Identifiable. And, I think the yellow and black, plus combo between yellow and black is ok. Not as good as picking one. For me, yellow...be because the backpack (straps and bag) pops off the yellow. Identifiable. But the green? Off brand. Thoughts?

Not at all. I teach this stuff, communication. 80% of communication is nonverbal: tone, eye contact, body language, etc. Commenting/texting has none of this. My intentions were pure.
