@@jase2223 I agree a video on why I don't buy k leather could be interesting but I have avoided it so far because I feel like it's not what the channel is about and I don't want to push my beliefs as part of the channel, I'll always be honest about it but I feel like people come for boots not my opinons on the environmental impacts of leather production haha. If you're going laceless and barefoot this is probably the best bet, the lotto I think gives better lockdown but it doesn't have a barefoot feel so it doesn't quite feel as uninterrupted. The 19+ is an interesting proposition for sure.

I basically agree with you .1 is better performing and the plus is probably slightly better looking but obviously looks wise they're very similar. I'm planning a comparison video of the new Mercurial line but it will be Superfly 6 vs Superfly 7 (so basically vapor 12 vs vapor 13) mainly because I sold my vapor 12s and I don't want to have to find a new pair for the video haha, but I still have my Superfly 6 so I'll try and do that next month if I can buy the new Superfly. Might get the DS when it drops.

It's certainly an option, I would maybe try half a size down. Personally I don't like how tight the boot is down half a size but it does improve the lockdown. so if you're really feeling them and you think that the half size down will be good for you size wise, I would say go for it. I am with you I applaud the effort but he is putting himself in a serious firing line with a tonne of potential to massively damage his reputation, but I also assume he knows this so fair play for having the balls to do it anyway. People will hate it just because, people will critisise just because and like you say it's impossible to please everyone, even with top end established boots I might love a boot and you might hate it. And I think people will expect this to be an incredible boot for everyone which isn't possible. I honestly don't see how it's going to go well enough. But sure if we had the option we would do it too, it's like a kid with a massive expensive toy. You have to do it if you can.

Colour ways alone would be hard to contend against in my oppinion. I mean as a bit of a boot nerd myself I know which boots in buying when released. I'm a huge Jordan fan from back in the day of the whole 3 peat with the Bulls. I'm a Knicks fan but Jordan the man. That name alone everybody knows it regardless of being a NBA fan or not. Bit like Ronaldo even if you don't follow soccer 99.9% would know who he is. They have marketable power behind them purely because of who they are and what they have done and achieved within there chosen sport.🤷♂️ not sure if I'm out of touch with the rest of the minority but I think it's a huge risk for himself and those involved. Just not sure where all the research/ development is coming from? I mean at least the big company's have there legit pro's to have feedback from and idea's of what is needed in there boot design's plus millions of dollars to throw at both market research and boot tech research.👍🤷♂️
It's the millions of dollars that make the difference I think, just in proprietory tech, how do you create a custom upper to exact specifications without some new tech or tech that gets adapted, and that is crazy expensive. Even with Nike I can't imagine how much it cost to put the machines in place to be able to make the upper on the vapor 13. Crazy money. And you're right about Jordan brand and what they have marketing wise but they also have an entire Nike soccer department just waiting to give them tech and knowledge.

X 19.1 performs better but X 19+ is just so cool 😍 I might try out that X 19+ because of that unique laceless "nothing in the way" feeling 😁

They actually have the same last, so they're very very similar. The X upper is a bit softer which might be a benefit but both are similar.

Its not impossible but it's very hard and requires a very very high skill level, some very strong dedication and some luck
