This is actually a trilingual song. It is in Assamese, Tiwa and Bodo- three of the many languages spoken in Assam. Bodo and Tiwa are two prominent tribes of Assam. In this video the girl is Bodo and the guy is Tiwa. They are saying 'I love you' in their respective languages and then explaining the meaning of the line in Assamese to each other.

"Ang nwngkhwo onnw" = i Love u ( u can say it to everyone you love)
    (2)
(Another way to say "i love you" in bodo in a romantic sense are following which are literally not "I Love you" but "I like you" is used as I love you. I hope you understood)
    1.Ang nwngkhwo hamjayw ( i like you)
2.Ang nwngkhwo mwjang mwnw (i like you)

It's more SE Asian i.e. Myanmar/Thailand influence in Assam's demography, culture, food than China. Assam is like d perfect combination of South Asia & South-East Asia in every aspect.

    *Languages of Assam*
    Assamese(lingua of franca).
    Boro
    Deori
    Dimasa
    Karbi
    Mising
    Rabha
    Tiwa
    Tai khamti
    Tai phake
    And many more.
Remember All Assamese people don't use Assamese as their MT. They have their own language(MT) which is recognised by the constituent as unscheduled language.
Assamese has been used since the ancient times by the tribes to communicate with each other since we can't understand each other linguistically.
Remeber Assamese is not the only mother language of Assam, it's one of the languages of Assam.

    It's Bondhu Rick and Korbin😁😁
    Chill.
And it's not just Assamese.. there are 3 languages.
Also , if I were you, I'd probably stay away from mentioning similarities between Assamese and Chinese style or culture or music or anything 😁😁
This northeastern region probably hates the Chinese the most due to frequent racist remarks by central Indians referring us as "chini"..
Also for the simple reason that Assam does not share borders with China. It is in the middle of the NE states and its people have a very striking resemblance to the people of West Bengal.
Cheers and look forward to more from you guys.

    • @anutpalgogoi9741

North eastern region doesn't hate the chinese as much as they hate the obliviousness of the mainlanders. Yes, there are similarities to chinese culture because majority of indigenous north eastern people came down from china at one point in history.

    • @jagatdeuri3261

If you are taking about resemblance, NE including Assam has similarities With SE asian countries. Just one of the Language of Assam(Assamese) doesn't make it all same.
Rice is common is all east and Se Asia and fish as well.
