The best video of Bolton I have seen. Good to see Mawdsley Street and Wood Street. However, she made some factual errors; Cromford is not in Nottingham, but in Derbyshire, a few miles south of Matlock. Lord Leverhulme was aged 74 when he died (not 77). Fred Dibnah was born in 1938 (not 1939). You can tell she is not from the area by her pronunciations of Hall i' th' Wood and Leverhulme.
So many beautiful buildings demolished in Bolton my home town have now gone Absolutely criminal The Odeon Cinema Gregory & Porritts Buildings boarded up The Town looks empty & tired I have family on the Bolton Artillery Cenotaph in Nelson Square The cenotaph on the precinct needs cleaning as does the Town Hall I only go back to Bolton now to visit family graves in Tonge & Heaton Cemeteries So sad to see the once bustling vibrant town disappearing
Visit Bolton.. You'll either be robbed, assaulted, or generally not appreciated! Thats because Bolton has a gigantic immigrant population! This video commentary is all very informative and educational.. But is lost on what the future of Bolton will be in the future . A huge predominantly Pakistani community!
I'm from bolton this video is brilliant 👍
Thank you very much for your comment. I'm glad I could do justice to this lovely town

It's Hick Hargreaves, (Engineers) not Nick Hargreaves who built the steam engine situated next to the Fred Dibnah statue!
