I used the RX7 as my drift car everytime. Didn't know it was the best car for it, thing just handled really well. I had a 15,6XX score on that track. it was awesome.
Honestly, I was hoping the IS350 would have a strong niche in drifting but it's just sort of average. Helped be beat Ryo's drift events in Tokyo just fine, at least. Still, it makes me wish ProStreet had a Chaser or Mark II JZX100. Given the worldwide locales and the increase of EU-spec cars, it'd make sense to have more JDM-specific vehicles besides just the Skyline GT-R and S15 Silvia.

A little disappointed with how mediocre the IS 350 turned out. I was expect it to be a better drift car in a similar vein to the Toyota Mark II + Chaser, which are both predominantly associated with drifting.
That's a personal preference. I have the same with the 240SX. It's like Jeremy Clarkson saying *Points at RX-7* "This is brilliant." *Points at RX8/240SX* "But I like this."

I seem to be better at drifting the RX8 than I am the RX7. I have many hundreds of hours in game too.
