Shot if you want them to stay in position, stotz if you want to move them during the day, so if you are shallow fishing and changing depths a lot stotz would be better :)
Guys, don't you find the round lead shot (8s) are so hard. Not only on the line, but they will not budge when trying to move them. I much prefer all my shot stotz now days even on the river. Great video by the way.

Depends on brand, something like Ballabini you will need pliers but ZLT will be ok just biting them on.
