What I did over the past couple years was bought .925 chains. Cubans, ropes etc a lot cheaper and now that I have this collection I can use them as a reference when buying solid gold chains.
Very smart. I really love silver personally. You get to see and play with so many styles. I'm into modern yo-yoing and they come in all different shapes and sizes. I have some gold, but I am not buying at these prices. No thank you. So buying a lot of the cheaper yoyos taught me a lot like jewelry. I know they are yoyos, but the best ones can be over a hundred bucks, I know yoyo is a niche sport so people probably don't know this.
Just beware most silver chains like rope chains come bigger than they are advertised. Example a 3mm might be 3.2mm but for gold it’s the opposite a 3 mm will really be closer to 2.7-2.5mm
@@tetis677 If a gold chains says it's 3 mm, that's what it should be. A millimeter off is fine, but anything else is unacceptable. Jacoje doesn't do that chit, maybe you should shop with him lol
I would agree that the best way to do it is to wait and save up to get that chain that has the thickness and style you really want. And, to get that item you really want will cost you especially at today's prices.
You speak the truth about everything, all your experiences selling chains. Everything you say is true because you have learned from all the consumers. BRADEN & Jacoje is so real it seems unreal. Your success is from your passion for honesty.
I see a few comments about regretting buying something a bit too small for their taste. I almost did the same thing recently, but I heard size up in another Jacoje video as well as in a Saints Gold short on insta. I'd rather be impatient than regretful. Looking forward to the tri-color bracelet arriving at my door.
Myron @HRC Hawaiian Gold Ropes Chains is always in STOCK and 22KT Gold, big or small chain he can get it!! and a Better Price than Everyone else!! #HRC #1
I don’t always agree with everything Braden says, but this is all really really good advice. In my first year or two of using chains way back when, I did every single one of these things (except buy hollow shit, even at 16 I knew that shit was for the birds). I will never forget opening my first 14k chain off eBay , looking down and realizing that a 3mm rope chain was smaller than I imagined a 1 mm chain would be (if that even exists). It sounds like such an up-sell thing to say;”always go the next size up”, but it’s totally true… doing that alone is the easiest way not to end up with Buyers remorse
I don't regret my chain from jacoje. I bought a 8mm 22inch 14k flat curb. It weighs 52.6 grams. When i bought it several years ago gold prices had gone up quite a bit already so it was kinda pricey at 2,805 including the 25 dollar FedEx fee. Im glad i went with a bigger mm. It's easy to want whatever is cheaper but i knew i wanted something on the bigger side rather than something real small. So 8mm is a perfect size for me. I don't want anything huge either like alot of rappers wear but the 8mm is definitely noticeable without being to ridiculous. I would love to get a chain with a higher k like 18k but then of course you will be spending twice as much money.
a few tips to prevent buyer's remorse: 1. if you're buying online, go to a local jewelry store and try on a similar chain to see if you like the look 2. if you want to spend more time thinking about it, buy the same chain in silver to see if it fits into your lifestyle. a bit of a cost, but spending $1-200 on a chain you could resell for at least half to make sure you're happy with a $2-3000 gold chain seems reasonable to me. 3. just accept you're gonna end up with 12 chains total so if one isn't your absolute favorite it's still gold you own
It's terrible for business to NOT address constant and major stocking issues and lack of 22k heavy link chains which were promised over a year ago! It would be much better to inform every one of the reasons and issues or complete discontinuation of something! A business can lose credibility much faster than how long it took to get that business in the first place.
Same here..I bought a 4mm diamond cut rope from them. After the diamond cuts it was about 3.4mm I was so dissapointed and let down. I wore it once and hated it. I had to unfortunately sale it off to a jeweler and only got half of its worth
Just remember...he diamond cuts his ropes. So if you get a 4mm rope after the diamond cuts the 4mm won't be much bigger than a 3mm chain. It'll be 3.4-3.7mm said n done. I'd go 5mm
I didn’t know that he would take them on a trade back. I have two diamond cuts that I find irritating on my neck. I wonder if he would trade them for the un diamond cut ones?
Try to get the moat weight possible. In my case i wanted a 3mm rope, but i wanted it to weigh as much as my 3mm 14kt Franco so i went with an 18kt rope. Both chains are around 30 grams each. I got my Jacoje gold in 2018 so the price was a lot less then
I got my 5mm 22" Yacht link on right now as well. Great chain Braden, thanks again for a smooth transaction and the chain is BLA-BLING!!!!! Even if it measures 4.75mm and not 5mm I still really like the chain. Weight as advertised but chain width was a little flaccid.
Can you add how to measure 📏 your chain to make sure you’re getting what you wanted. I bought a 4mm but after seeing sizing on the web. It seems to look more around the 3 plus MM

need that 22inch 3.5 dc franco broooo need it bad
Sir i couldnt help but notice you dont have any diamond earrings studs why is that
Solid is better than hollow obviously but hollow is a fourth of the price and if it breaks, you just fix it.
You’re getting probably 1/8th of the gold for 1/4th the price. Also solid gold doesn’t break if it’s a decent size link.
