Just got back from the SoCal Gaming Expo in Pasadena. Was great. Big venue, lots of vendors, panels all day, free play, tournaments. Had a blast. Look for it this time next year. Worth the 6 hour drive from Vallejo.

It looks like you had a good time man! I almost went to this expo a couple of years ago, but nobody was down to go haha. Sick pickups too. The Resistance series is badass. If you can, play The Resistance campaign co-op. I was a beast on Resistance 1’s multiplayer back in the day haha. I got the GTA definitive trilogy this year as well. Some weird glitches, but it appears to be in a better state than at launch. The 60 fps makes it worth it.

@@FranchisePlayyer Yessir, over in Long Beach. Just keep in mind with Resistance….it may feel a little outdated today, but if you love first person shooters, you should be solid. I feel you with the backlog haha. Been playing TLOU2 one more time before the remaster and been playing The Finals (surprisingly fun and fast paced live service fps). I’ve been going hard with collecting Japanese UMD movies. Just got: Resident evil trilogy boxset, Benjamin button, Tom and jerry, Alien vs predator 1&2, Predator, Batman begins, Hellboy, and Final fantasy advent children. Japan had some cool exclusives and cover variants. What have you been playing man?
Oh hell yeah, any cool game shop in your area? Bro the backlog is never ending at this point 🤣 Those are some dope pickups, it seems like other regions got better sets on UMDs for some reason. I’ve been trying to find Akira and Oldboy for cheap on UMD but the listings for them are hard to come by
@@FranchisePlayyer The bookoffs in my area usually have some cool retro stuff, but are a bit overpriced these days. Gameplay is a nice local shop that has a bunch of retro games and consoles. Any shops near you? I’ve been wanting to get Akira too, but the price is never right. Region 2 (European) Akira is cheaper than the US version. There are a couple of cheap Oldboy umd listings on ebay rn for around $10. I’ve been dying to get Face/off and Zodiac killer, also Japanese releases.
That’s cool you guys have bookoffs, I don’t think we have any in NorCal. The best game store in this area is “Fire and Ice games” I highly recommend it if you’re ever in the area Collecting UMD movies is super fun dude whenever I see them locally it’s always common stuff though so I pretty have to go online for the harder to get stuff. Do you watch the movies on your PSP or do you connect your psp to your tv?
